Hello all, I got properly diagnosed in February for endo after key hole surgery. My endo has attached itself to my bowel so you can imagine the pain. The consultant thought fitting a coil was the next best move to see improvements. It’s been three months now and the only improvement I’ve seen is lighter

Still got abdominal pain after IUD removed
I had my copper coil changed in Nov 17 after my previous one ran out after 5 years. it was changed to a 10 year one. Since it was swapped I have ongoing abdominal pain most days. I would describe it as period like pain low in my abdomen. I had my coil checked after 6 weeks and swabs taken, all normal

Emergency contraception autoimmune thyroid disease
Hi all Accident happened yesterday. Wondered if anyone has any experience or knowledge of the effects of autoimmunity and use of emergency contraception. Or anyone used emergency contraception and had positive or negative experiences. Think I may need a coil as I think I may have ovulated today. I am

Cat's claw
Just read an article on herbal supplement, cat's claw (uncaria tomentosa) for RA inflammation and the immune system. Wondering if any of you have tried and if it helped at all. Thanks.

Laparoscopy and No Endo found. Really need any advice on what to do next?
Since the age of 11 when I first started getting periods I was absolutely floored for at least 3 days every month with pain. In the beginning it used to be just the crippling pain every month to the point that I would fear my next period. Sounds dramatic but honestly I thought I would die from the pain

Hi - my name is Jordana, I am 24 and this is my first post. It's a long one so I can only apologise, but I wanted to cover everything from the very beginning to see if anyone here could relate to any stage of this and give me some answers/advice? For years, I have struggled with incredibly painful period

Early menopause related to Behçet’s?
Did anybody go into early menopause because of their Behçet’s? I’m waiting for my rheumatologist appointment to confirm my Behçet’s diagnosis but wanted to see if anyone has experienced some effect on hormones. I’m 46 and had an IUD for 5 years so I didn’t menstruate because of the IUD which released

Teaching with Endo
Hi, I’m just wondering if there are any other teachers on here? I’m due back to school tomorrow and I’ve just started my period a week early. I’m in pain already! Taken a mefanamic acid and codiene. I’ve always been on the pill which has managed the symptoms but I’ve been on the coil for the past 8

PID and Endo
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help? Basically I have endometriosis and have previously had ovarian cysts, but two weeks ago I was diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and put on antibiotics. The swabs came back negative and it seems the hospital aren’t entirely sure what’s causing

Suffering the symptoms of endo but doctors unwilling to help!
Hello! Been suffering from the symptoms of endo for a few years Now,my GP referred me to gynacologist, had all scans and swabs. I was told it might be polisistic ovary and endometreosis. Been back to my GP today and they are unwilling to do anything the try the pill again which I've been on for 5 years

Copper IUD advice
Hello everyone, this is my first post and I'm just looking for a bit of advice/opinions from others. I've had a bit of an unsettling experience with my GP today. I asked about having my copper coil out as I have read that as well as making your periods heavier and more painful (which I can cope with)

Help! Natural FET: any experiences on here?
Hi lovely community. We've been dogged by issues throughout our journey ttc over the last 3 years, around every corner there seems to be another obstacle. On Monday this week I had a hysteroscopy to investigate fluid in my uterus they found on our last FET (then abandoned), and as suspected my consultant
