Hi there, I am hoping that I have typed my question in the right forum?. There is one forum on this website about using the Minerva-coil, yet is a good 5 years old - new or improved coils occur every few years i think?.
My question is about very negative sensations in the vagina since having the Minerva coil fitted a few weeks ago - like there is a sharp object against the vaginal wall. My GP has said that this doesn't sound like a normal side affect unable to find anything in a brief examination. I also experience lower abdomen (ovary-area) cramps, that are meant to be normal, even after post-operative surgery.
Any advice or shared experiences will be most appreciated, don't want the coil to be removed unless it is absolutely necessary as am really fed up of heavymenstruation and unfitness as a result.
