Help, pain and bleeding with the Merina coil

I had a Laparoscopy back in August 2017 to diagnose Endometriosis and to have the Merina coil fitted. I have had little to no pain while I've had the coil but unexpectedly I have begun bleeding. I made an emergency appointment the same day and was told the the hormones in the coil must be waring off. I was given Desogestrel to stop the bleeding but I'm still bleeding and in pain 6 days in.

I don't know what to think, I worry my Endo has already grown back and that something is wrong with the coil. Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do??
