Follow-up Appointment and Treatment
Hello 🙂 I’m hoping some of you might be able to give me a few tips... I had my laparoscopy in March and was (finally!) diagnosed with endo. I’ve got my follow up appointment on Monday and have been thinking about what I need to ask or find out about. So far this is all I’ve thought of: - where exactly

Adenomyosis and endometriosis
Hi everyone Does anyone have both adenomyosis and endometriosis? I was diagnosed with adenomyosis almost two years ago after my second lap and I’m at a real loss. The lap did little to help my pain, heavy periods or the dizziness which my consultant said means that most of my symptoms are due to adenomyosis

6wks post surgery..Been advised to have a hysterectomy..please help!
Hello ladies I’m 6wks post laparoscopy for bilateral ovarian cyst removal. I had had awful pain/spotting/bloating for months and a scan showed a large cyst on each ovary. The after effects of surgery were pretty painful (it felt like my ovaries had been hacked to bits). I’ve had a Fallopian tube removal

Mirena coil: allergic reaction
Wanted to post on here to make people aware that despite the low incident rate of 1 in 100 patients having an allergic reaction to the Mirena IUS, it does happen. I had just had one! Here's a quick description of me & my symptoms so people can note what an allergic reaction to Mirena hormonal coil looks

Help
Can anyone help me? So it’s been roughly 2 years since I was diagnosed with endo on bladder bowel and pod. Update
I referred back to the gp again and they won’t take my coil out, but they have referred me back to gynaecology. The don’t want to remove the coil to undo the work the hospital have done until I’ve been back to see them. To help with the bleeding I’ve been given loestrin 20, a low estrigine pill to take

Has anyone used Cat's Claw ( Banisteriopsis caapi ) Extract for Parkinson's Disease
A substance extracted from the Amazonian vine Banisteriopsis caapi was shown in the 1920s to alleviate parkinsonism. These pioneering studies were criticized and forgotten for a number of reasons, including questions as to the identity of the active agent and failure to conduct strictly controlled

Hysterscopy and anaesthetic
Hi all. After getting a second opinion from my GP, she agrees that I should have the hysteroscopy first rather than a laparoscopy. She says the gynaecologist is just trying to take it small steps at a time, and that he'll most likely do a laparoscopy at some point anyway. She also says I don't need to

Just got blood results from GP after difficulty in obtaining a copy. I thought TSH tested but no test done! I was diagnosed initially by myself and confirmed by GP with fibromyalgia in 2016. Odd question during ultrasound.
Hi all, I've just had an internal and external ultrasound as a tool for diagnosis of potential endo. The technician asked (whilst looking at the screen) if I have a coil fitted. I said no and he muttered something to himself like 'that's not the coil'. Is this a normal question? surely he would see

IUD removal
Hi, I really want my IUD removing because I think it’s making my pain worse, it’s like I can feel it’s sat there. I’m very nervous to go because when I’ve had a speculum inserted recently, it has really hurt and I’ve had to tell them to stop. I’m not sure if I need an appointment to go or if I can just
