Some please help or give me advice 😔
Hi All, Some of you may remember me posting the other day about my missing coil? It has my been located out of situ and about 3 inches away from my left lung! I am petrified to be honest and feel like the hospital are messing around with getting it sorted. Had an X-ray on Monday to confirm location

First laparoscopy!!
Hello everyone! I have just booked in for my diagnostic lap on the 3rd August! I am excited but also nervous because this feels like the final step in finding out what is wrong. So I guess my question is, any advise on what to expect post op? Is there anything I should do prior to the lap to make recovery

Positive experiences with the coil?
I’m having my first laparoscopy next month and at the same time I have the option of getting the coil inserted. I’ve been speaking to different people about the coil and I’m hearing more negative than positive things about the coil.

Advice needed - Am I losing my mind
I’m writing this as I’m really struggling, I feel like life is not worth living. And I don’t know what to do. I’ve suffered with anxiety since I was young, growing up my periods were regular but painful. I had combined pill which gave me migraines so I switched to copper coil and over a few year my

Mirena coil experiences
Hi, During my lap in February, I was fitted with the Mirena coil. I have had some mixed experiences with this coil. Three weeks after the lap I scheduled an appointment with my GP as the surgeons had left the strings of the Mirena coil too long. After a horrific experience with the GP where he attempted

Copper coil
I have had my coil since Dec 2017 and everything has been fine so far. My periods have been 5 days long and heavy for 2 however this month I am on day 6 of heavy bleeding. My period started slightly earlier than normal but only by a few days. Has anyone had this? Does seem to be slowing down and I am

Struggling and alone.
So over the last week or so (heading into the second week of now), my mental health issues seem to have exacerbated, especially my anxiety. Partially due to PMS and partially due to the coil being removed (I think). I'm just at a total loss now guys, I don't know what to do. I'm restless all the time

I've hit rock bottom
Still waiting for my lap; now likely August time. I have just moved house and the stress of it has given me a horrible period this month (the pain kept me awake last night, and it's awful again this morning). Plus I can't sleep in the house and have been sleep deprived for a week. I cry at the smallest

Hi everyone, I'm new to this so I'm really sorry if I'm not posting correctly! I'll give a bit of background first. Around October 2014, I took very ill. I was lethargic all the time and had severe pain in my left side. Doctor's were diagnosing an infection but they couldn't locate it. After 6 months

Struggling
It’s just gone midnight and I’m laid on my sofa listening to slushy music because I can’t handle lying next to my boyfriend in bed right now. I’m waiting for an op to remove my coil as it’s ‘lost’ as well as removing cysts on my ovaries and removal of endometriosis which the coil was supposed to help

Hi everyone, I could really do with your input. I was diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease in dec 2015 and it became chronic and I have had multiple infections over the past 2 years. I suffer chronic pelvic pain and dysfunctional bleeding. I suffered dysfunctional bleeding prior to the diagnosis

I’m new to this forum stuff but I’m hoping there’s someone out there with advice. I’m 35 and have had horrible periods ever since I can remember. I’ve been on various forms of birth control but I don’t like the effects hormones give me. I get really depressed and already have a history of that. I’ve
