I am a 52 year old I fell on the ice and January. Which led to A cat scan of the MRI and then I was sent to a neurologist because nothing was found in my doctor said the pain was all in my head. The neurologist then told me to bring my disks the head from my other doctors and the minute he looked

What now?
Hi everyone, My name's Hannah and I'm about to turn 20 this week. I had a laparoscopy 2 months ago during which they diagnosed endometriosis. I was seen by a specialist centre and a specialist surgeon so I genuinely believe he knew what he was doing. I also had the coil put in during the surgery. However

What do you say now??
Hi gals. Firstly I would like to send my love to each and every one of you wether your fighting for a diagnosis, some one to listen to you or the daily hell that is it disease. I had an exploratory lap in ‘16 and was diagnosed with ‘very mild’ endo on bowel bladder and pod. Was told it’s not the cause

Hi. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy 2 years ago (found adhesions and several chocolate cysts around my ovaries along with a distended bowel) and over the past year the symptoms have returned ten times worse. I have near constant pain in my pelvis, under both my ribs and in my stomach, I constantly need

Dealing with the Pain without medication
Hello ladies, I am just looking for some help and advice from women who know endo, as I am beginning to think that the doctors really have no idea what we go through! I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 2 years ago, but they put a coil in immediately and were able to control it using that. Continuing

Contraceptive patch
Hi guys, I really struggle to take tablets and have heard horror stories about the coil. So I have been looking at getting the Contraceptive patch in hope that it will be enough to help balance my hormones out from PCOS. Also noticed about the Patch that it isn’t necessarily suitable for people over

Anyone used the Jaydess coil?
Was on Mirena coil a few years ago - never had a period even once so from an endo point of view it's a dream. Now I'm looking at a coil again to control the endo symptoms I'm having as the pill isn't cutting it. Logical solution is use the Mirena as there's a good chance it will just stop my periods

Extreme pain with copper coil
Hi I've had the copper coil three years now and my periods have been excruciating. I think I have a high pain tolerance, but when I'm on I just want to curl in bed and cry because I can barely move or walk with out being doubled up. I keep telling myself it will get better and it did for a month or so

Hip pain?
Just asking if anyone else suffers from pain in their hips with endo? I had a small amount of endo removed back in march which was on my left ovary ligament (sorry forgotten the name of the ligament think it begins with the letter u?) I had the merina coil fitted whilst having my lap done, ever since

Advice? Very Heavy Period- sorry if TMI
I have been diagnosed with endo, and trialled the coil which I personally hated- I am under a BSGE center (just- initial apt in March, after MRI I finally have a f/up in August). I am currently on the pill (femodette) and I really struggle with periods, I end up really run down, low in mood, my bowels

Mirena coil
Hello ladies I had my coil fitted 22nd of June and I don’t think there’s been a day with there hasn’t been some blood, is this normal? I’m not heavy and i don’t feel unwell in myself just wondering if it will settle anytime soon? Tampons are expensive 😩

Copper coil
Posting my experiences of my recent copper coil fitting (last week) as I found it useful reading everyone's experiences of it. First of all remember that everyone will react slightly differently to it. My GP was very knowledgeable referring to her own personal experience with the copper coil and I think

Jaydess
Has anyone tried the iud jaydess? This is smaller than the Mirena and releases less hormones but there is very little info on jaydess and endo. I am coming up to a month on jaydess and I am very very happy so far! I could not tolerate the pain from the Mirena at all and in the past progesterone has

Final diagnosis
Hi ladies, So i got my final diagnosis today, it turns out I have it on the bowel rectum and bladder and it’s sticking my organs together, my doctor suggested I tried the marina coil before we take the operation route, as she said the operation will be very tricky and I could be left with a permanent

Need advice I have only had 1 injection of zoladex but don’t want to continue and try for a baby.
Hi ladies, I have only had 1 injection of zoladex which was 4 weeks ago. I’m getting my coil removed on the 23rd of August and want to try for a baby with my husband. The side effects where that serve with just having one injection I have cancelled the course. Is it safe to try for a baby it will be
