Experiences with Provera
Hi all. I have today been prescribed Provera; 50mg to be taken daily for two months to see if it eases my constant pelvic pain. I have had a laparoscopy to rule out Endometriosis and cysts, both of which I don't have. I do however have "multiple adhesions" in my abdominal area; my Gyne was unable to

Hello everyone, need your advice. I have been having severe upper and lower abdominal pain, heavy clotting periods, and extreme exhaustion.
Went to OB, pap came back normal, bloodwork was good no anemia. Then she ordered a vaginal ultrasound because I had prior small cysts and fibroids. After about 10 minutes the tech excused herself and went a got the doc. She confirmed a dermoid and said it had to be removed, then she took me in and gave

Painful aching legs and other joint pain - has Zoladex done this to me????
Then I was on
Depo
-
Provera
injections for a few months but stopped them at the beginning of March this year because I wasn't benefiting much from that treatment either! I am now having no treatment to see how things go.

Has anyone taken Clomid/Provera??? Just about to start and i'm a little nervous!
I have just had my 2nd lap to remove Endo and we have been TTC (unofficially) for 3 years with no joy. The next step is Clomid. I heard this is maybe bad for Endo??? I have very irregular periods due to PCO so to actually kick start a period I have to take Provera first. I have always had horrendous

Thought provera had things under control but back with a vengeance!
Hi! Felt the need for a bit of a rant today. I was finally diagnosed after a laposcrapy a couple of months ago after a long exhausting battle with doctors and consultants, paying for private scans and having to be really pushy to get an op. I have suffered from depression from the age of 13 and ibs since

Diagnosis without laparoscopy?
I have had period/bowel trouble for the past 8 years and have continuously been told it was due to IBS, treated for IBS and ignored. I was put on the pill 5 years ago at the age of 14 because my periods lasted 2 weeks, made me vomit for at least half of this time and caused me to miss so much school

14 Year Old Daughter 'unofficially diagnosed' by Gyne - next appointment Thurs - is it too soon for a Lap?
My lovely 14 year old has been virtually off school since last November with severe pain in lower abdomen. She was initially admitted thinking it was appendix, then they have trawled through other conditions, IBS etc. Dr didn't initially think it was Endo as she was, in his opinion, too young so

What were your experiences with Depo Provera Injection for endo treatment?
They've suggested the
depo
provera
pill for pain management, which I had my first injection of today? I've read really mixed reviews about this mainly weight gain.

Can anyone tell me whether they experience the same severe fatigue and weight loss with Endometriosis?
I am on the
Depo
-
Provera
shot and am pain free from the endo but I am always so drained and tired. I also have unexplainable weight loss, I'm about 10kg-20kg underweight and I fluctuate a lot.

Massive fluid retention after injection of cortisone
Hi All. Has anyone else had lots of fluid retention, particularly in thighs and belly, after injection of Depo-Medrone (cortisone)? I had 120 mgs after crawling off to GP when my batteries had run down and blew up some days later. I'm on 7.5mgs daily but am waiting for hip replacement so am off everything

Mirena Coil vs Depo Provera injection?
Hi ladies, I have unconfirmed endometriosis, not had a lap to actually find it but 4 years ago I had a burst cyst that they thought was appendicitis, so had one then with general surgeons, who unfortunately didn't look for the endo! However, all doctors that I have seen are pretty sure I have it. Anyway
