Me and my endometriosis; the journey continues
On Wednesday I got an appointment to see my consultant, he had a cancellation so I got go see him much quicker than I had expected. I normally spend the night before a consultants appointment preparing - writing notes, questions and concerns - anything I need to mention. I found out yesterday at 2:30

Thoracic endometriosis!
I've tried practically every treatment possible and now seem to have become immune to the
depo
provera
injection therefore my endometriosis is back with a vengeance, mainly in my left side, back, groin and thigh. Two weeks ago I was rushed to hospital with chest pain and difficulty breathing.

Provera tablets
What are people's experience of these? They are making me very nauseous.

What are you currently on?
Hello ladies, I was just interested to know what treatment you're currently on apart from painkillers and how good it is? I'm on the pill atm but will be seeing my consultant on Tuesday and it's highly likely to be changed and just wondering what the best might be? The coil and the pill haven't worked

Depo provera injection.
Hiya, I was just wondering if anyone has had the
depo
provera
injection and if it's had bad side effects at all? I had it about two months ago and I'm pretty sure it's making me feel worse! So I'm unsure whether to get the next injection or not?!

Tocilizumab - Has anyone had....
Hello I had my first infusion of Toc! On January 11th, it was ok needed to have the infusion slowed down as I became really Anxious, and had a bit of a Panic. It took nearly 2 hours and I felt a bit wobbly afterwards, very light headed and dizzy but it passed quite quickly. Two weeks in I had a DVT

Just another update
Hi All. Just thought I would give you a little update. So since my last failed IVF treatment which we never even got to egg collection . I have had one period since which was around November time and not pregnant. So phoned up the clinic about 10 days ago and they have said to start taking Provera tablets

Continuing saga
Hi! I wrote on here a few months back asking advice on finding someone to look outside the box after being treated for 5 years for sero neg RA and was no further on. Got a lot of interesting feedback from people on here, thank you, so thought I'd update you and ask your opinion on a couple of other things

Endometriosis and thickened endometrium
I thought it might be due to the progesterone I am on (
depo
-
provera
and norethisterone tablets) but it seems oestrogen is actually the causal agent if the thickening is hormonal is cause an progesterone is the treatment.

Gonapeptyl depot inj. and rapid heart rate: has anyone else had this?
Hi everyone, I had my first Gonapeptyl depot injection last week. After a few hours, I realised my heart was racing noticeably (wasn't doing anything exciting ;-), just lazing on the sofa). I checked using a BP/HR cuff and my heart rate was 105, instead of the usual ~70 bpm. It's stayed around 100

Any Suggestions Welcome!
If any one could offer any advice I would be really Grateful! I have a Reumy Appointment on Friday, with the original Consultant who diagnosed me in April, and am feeling really scared! Silly I know, but after 3 Failed attempts at DMARDS, and a refusal to take the last one due to the possibke side effects

Gonapeptyl for Endometriosis before IVF: where can I find detailed evidence?
Hi everyone, I'm on the hunt for any studies that demonstrate the effect of Gonapeptyl depot (triptorelin) injections on endometriosis so that I can try to make a sensible decision about IVF. Quick background: I have stage IV endo that regrows quickly after surgery. I am part way though my 1st IVF

Confused by breakthrough bleeding while taking gonadotropins
First of all, thank you to anyone who read or took time to respond to my original post. It was comforting to feel understood! I've been on a break due to over-stimulated ovaries from injection therapy, and felt so annoyed by this that I ended up taking provera to induce a new cycle so I could start

Norethisterone - is it worthwhile?
I have endo and had 2 lots of surgery. I have a large nodule in my bowel I am trying to live with as I am scared of more surgery and it's not in a good place. My doctor has just put me on this drug and I have been on it 2 weeks now. It's making me depressed, stressed, tearful and hormonal. Like having
