Random brown spotting on pill
Hi, I'm currently taking Cilest back to back as advised by my gyno to stop my periods until my laparoscopy (finally given the date of 27th March!). I have been taking Cilest since September, with breaks, and took a month of Provera from December to January. For the past 2 weeks, I've been back on Cilest

False positive
Hi, I’ve been dignoised with pcos and have done my first round of provera and clomid and was told I didn’t ovulate.. I’ve taken my second lot of provera to jump start my period so I can take clomid, but it’s been 7 days and I haven’t had my period start. I took a pregnancy test tonight as I read somewhere

Hey all, So I recently finished my months worth of provera tablets (3 a day for 30 days) to stop my pain and extended menstrual bleeding. My pain was reduced but didn't go away whilst taking them but I haven't bled at all on them (I'm glad.) When I finished my prescription on wednesday, I was advised

Not been diagnosed yet but does this sound like Endo to you? (Sorry for long post)
I went the doctors in September because I’d had continuous bleeding for a several months with some pelvic pain - she treated me for bacterial vaginosis which a swab said it wasn’t. I went back because the bleeding was heavier and the pelvic pain was getting worse- keeping me awake at night. She prescribed

Depo Medrol shot for Flare
Hi everyone, I am on Actemra for PMR. I am also currently on 4mg of Rayos (time released Prednisone). I recently had a flare because I reduced too quickly. Completely my fault as I was feeling so great. The drop to 3mg was too fast and against Dr orders (and the Aunties). The next morning I could

Follow up appointment after laparoscopy. Just as I had dreaded 😔
I had my follow up appointment, consultant said there was no visible cause of my pain during my lap and hysteroscopy but I have PCOS and lining is thick and something has to be done as it could become cancerous in the future. The three options he gave me were the coil, the pill, or provera. I chose

I am currently on the

Provera
injection which I won’t be continuing in the new year and I know it can take a while for it to leave your system, my consultant advised to take folic acid but I wasn’t sure how soon to start taking this and wondered if anyone has any advice or tips that could help?

Given IBS treatment despite lack of symptoms and agreement on Endo diagnosis...
I went to Spire for a consultation just before Christmas and met with a gynocologist who after going through many many questions suggested an ultrasound as he expected I had Endometriosis and that due to the pain getting worse around my period, it was very unlikely that it was IBS because I had no bowel

Endometrial Hyperplasia— On Provera
I joined this group as I was looking through google regarding my issues. This year has been a horrendous experience on the gynecological side. I was bleeding with blood clots everyday. It was the unusual thing happening I had at least 4 transvaginal ultrasound which only shows thickened lining of endometrium

Need a little rant and some advice
Hey, I’ve just been to the hospital for another consultation. I’m 18 years old so she said they won’t do much except keep trying different hormone pills. I’ve tried the mini pill and combined but these haven’t worked. I’ve just been given Provera and need some quick advice on whether to take them

I'm new here.. Advice on irregular chronic bleeding and useless medication
Gynae suggested
depo
-
provera
might be useful in treating the bleeding, therefore took me off cilest and norethisterone. Following a three month check up gynae discharged me despite me saying I had pretty much constant (though be it lighter) bleeding because it was a symptom of depo-injection use.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is any info on how hyperplasia is managed if you want preserve your fertility and not have a hysterectomy? I have been reading a lot online but various articles contradict eachother. I am currently in the middle of IVF treatment and had a pre-treatment hysteroscopy
