MTHFR/LAB WORK
Hello, I have recently got my blood & saliva test back. I cannot see my NEW Dr until Nov 14th. She did email me on blood work and said everything looked good except iron and wanted me to take an iron supplement. Before I went to her the first time in August 2019, I was dealing with severe fatigue, exercise

Hot Flushes
Hi, it's been a while since I posted, I have been following the advice given and support from members. I am still in what Drs call sub clinical Hashimotos Thyroiditis, still not being treated for it as my labs are all in range. My TSH goes between 3.39 to 6.03 currently it is 4.39. Same labs and ranges

Asking for a friend. When having a full iron panel. When is it best to stop supplementing?
My friend is having a full iron panel and had been taking an iron and vit c combined supplement. When is it best to stop taking it before the test and does it matter what time of day the test is done? Thanks in advance 😊

Low Ferritin
Hello, I was diagnosed with iron-deficiency anemia and I am Vitamin B12 deficient. I received a blood test in June, and it showed that my ferritin level was a 4! My doctor immediately put me on prescription iron (I said absolutely not to an iron infusion), but I had to stop taking the iron because it

ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT
I have been investigating alternative/functional cancer treatment. My test last week showed that two areas have decreased. I am feeling fairly good most days, still on watchful waiting, doing chaga tea or CBD. Now, I just want to get this over with. The functional center in Tijuana had a host of techniques

Obese T2 DM Vs Thin T2 DM
Are you Obese T2 or Thin and skinny T2?? I have been studying the Etiology & mechanism of Obese T2 Vs Thin/Skinny T2 since quite some time. I have accessed a lot of research papers/ studies on the subject. I find there is a lot of difference between the two and therefore the strategies to be followed

BRAC, KRAS mutations. Prostate Cancer Genetic Tests
We are having my husband genetically tested to see what we can learn about his PC. Hopefully, this will help doctors decide which treatments are best as advancements are made. I’ve been reading about the BRAF, KRAS and V600E mutations. There are studies where Vitamin C infusions killed cancer in people
