Altrient vitamins?

Hi all!

I keep seeing adverts for Altrient vitamin C and a B complex with minerals - reading up they look good, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tried them please!

Thanks 😍

Altrient vitamin C

Yes, I took those on advice from a practioner I was consulting with a few years ago. I didn't continue for long though because at £1 per sachet giving 1000mg Vit C, and she wanted me to take 2 a day, it went beyond my budget as I was taking other recommended supplements that weren't cheap either. The B Complex with minerals is even more expensive at approx £1.83 per sachet and it says take up to 2 a day.

I've no idea if they're any better than any good quality supplement but they sure are expensive!

Yikes! Thanks Susie, I hadn’t worked out the daily cost, but could see they were expensive - that’s why I’m hoping for more reviews to help decide - thank you 😁

Is the B6 in the form of pyridoxine?

Have a read of my recent post:

By the way, the fact that you keep seeing adverts possible shows where the company's funds are going - into advertising. :-)

Ashanat,

Tried Altrient Liposomal Vitamin C for several months. Can’t say I felt much better and the taste is awful. I’m going to try Cytoplan Cherry C next. It’s not liposomal but reviews are good and it’s a lot cheaper!

Thanks SO much for posting this - I would not have heard from and as I have Addison's I need C for the adrenal glands plus other routes. Expensive but according to reviews look great products.

Just so that you know, the ingredients of their vitamin C, for one example, are:

Deionized Water, Sodium Ascorbate, Lecithin Phospholipids, Alcohol (ethanol 12% w/w), Citric Acid (for PH adjustment)

Contains: Soy

I am somewhat surprised no comments, yet, about the soy content nor the citric acid which might well be obtained from black mould. (I don't consider black mould source to be an issue but others do.) And the ethanol (alcohol) could be a no, no for some.

I mentioned to my then practioner about the phospholipids from soy lecithin, she said it didn't matter (despite having my thyroid history). Just one of the reasons I eventually ditched her!

Thanks so much for all the replies. I’m going to find a different type. Also checked my current B complex and it’s not got the ‘wrong’ B6, phew!
