Thankful for you...
I wanted to take a few minutes to share my story. So many people here have been so generous sharing what has helped them and answering questions for me. For that, I am truly grateful. My story – my husband was first diagnosis in August, 2018. Age 55. Started with a tremor in his hand/arm. This

Sorry this is verbose... My head is spinning reading the research and contradictory findings it’s enough to drive one mad. However below is what I take now to help offset bone damage. From my past experience with Vitamin C & E I believe overall it to be beneficial as it’s the only reason I can think

Blood results - help?
I have now received a hard copy my blood tests results from September when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and my recent tests. Can anyone help me make sense of it? After speaking with doctor again today I’ve been advised to reduce my daily tablet to 6 days a week with one day break as it appears

PA and C-Reactive protein levels. Are they linked?
Does anyone have any idea as to whether the two above may be linked? From what I understand, C-reactive protein levels become raised when your body is fighting some kind of infection, or something isn't normal. My levels were raised quite high (in the 40s - normal is below 10, but below 20 is seen as

At the moment I’m on week 5 of the flu...it just never ends. It appears I have no immune system at all and I’

24 hours to go
Wanted to thank everyone for the support and advice I've recieved. My appointment with my therapist is 24 hours away. My husband didn't have to work last night and stepped up cooking and running to the store. In the past I haven't told him when my depression gets really bad. Don't want him to worry.

Question re collagen
Before I was diagnosed with NASH and fibrosis, I was tsking collagen supplements for my joints and skin. I know fibrosis is made of collagen and that the body produces it on its own. I can find NO information on whether collagen supplements contribute to fibrosis. I stopped taking vitamin C supplements

Early Hypo/Hashi's Complicated By Adrenal/Low Cortisol
Greetings everyone: Finally got fed up with my family doctor who knows nothing and went two routes - endocrinologist (my doctor reluctantly gave a referral) and naturopath. Symptoms I have just about every symptom of hypothyroidism I have ever read and I am confirmed Hashi's by antibodies and ultrasound

HEALTH: The snack that could save your life.
Below information is in the copy of You magazine, with the copy of Mail on Sunday UK. " It’s apple season – which is good news, because science has now proved the hackneyed cliche to be true: an apple a day really does help keep the doctor away (though to fully benefit you need to eat the skin, too).
