I heard
Daktarin
oral gel but it’s sold out everywhere and the pharmacy said they even finding it hard to get it in for people who have it prescribed to them. It’s getting to the point I wake up the corner of my lips are so dry and white. As soon as I yawn it all opens up and bleeds.

Benapali side effects
I am testing both, one with a cream called Cetaphil, for the face and
Daktarin
for the genitals itch.I have now gained a violent reaction to coconut and cow's milk. Both engender violent diarrhoea. My specialist sees the first two as necessary side effects.

Daktarin and Bisoprolol
I’ve been asked if
Daktarin
for oral thrush is safe to use if you take Bisoprolol and have heart problems.

Changing from MDIs to DPIs for the environment
Before that both our local very good pharmacist and the GP had been conceerned how frequently I used oral
Daktarin
to manage thrush, as it is not intended for long term use. Thus the swap was on the basis of my health. 2.

Thrush from Steroid Inhalers
I went to the pharmacy and have been given
daktarin
gel, which I’ve now been using for 5 days. I’ve not noticed any difference at all. I’ve also bought a tongue brush and scraper but again no difference yet.

Oral Thrush from Inhaler use
I got
daktarin
, it cleared up, all was well and good. Then, in June, like a couple months later, it came back in the same place, up the back of my throat, and I went back to get my
daktarin
and was told I might have to see my GP about it.

oral thrush?
I have been told the penicillin probably made it worse and now am using a
Daktarin
miconzale gel - it is very difficult to apply as the thrush is at the far back of my throat and neck. Can anyone confirm this is thrush?

I’ve also tried
Daktarin
as someone kindly recommended on here but that’s just too difficult to put on the very back of my tongue without gagging. Any other suggestions please? Finally, going to send me for a breathing test (?) and another CT scan.

Male Yeast infection help!
I have used
daktarin
which was rubbish. I am now on fluconazole 50mg capsules 7 day course and a I thought I was getting better up until the 6th day! Then I all flared up again. Not sure now if it’s a yeast infection or bacterial and doctors have seen me once and done no tests!

My doctor prescribed
Daktarin
, but the info in the packet said not to take it if you are on blood thinners, which I am, so that is a no go!

Oral thrush eventually successful treatment
I had
daktarin
, then nystatin, then itraconazole (made my teeth feel very strange). Three months on it had not gone. Then my cousin recommended capryllic acid, a component from coconut oil in tablet form.

Oral thrush and Inhaled steroids
I use
Daktarin
oral gel which makes it more bearable. If I stop the
Daktarin
gel for even a day then it becomes much worse. Ive also had short courses of fluconazole...which work great but within a week the thrush is right back again. It never completely clears up.

Oral thrush
I got some
Daktarin
gel from the pharmacy but it stings where the discomfort is at its worst. Is this a good sign? I’m not expecting an immediate response as I’ve only used the gel a few times. I’m also rinsing with bicarbonate as an extra treatment. If anyone can advise that would be great.

Frustrated about thrush
I deal with it quickly and simply by using oral
Daktarin
for a few days each time and that deals with it. But now I am told it is not a good idea, that as I am prone I should instead be on a medication with which I can use a spacer. (Eat your heart out BBC!)

Thrush treatment making symptoms worse
Recently, I was prescribed Gyno-
Daktarin
vaginal cream (to be inserted into the vagina with applicators) to be taken every night for 7-10 days in the hope it would clear up thrush symptoms after canesten treatments having no effect.

Has anyone ever got rid of oral thrush?
My GP has now prescribed a 2 week course of
Daktarin
, I’m half way through that but there isn’t any improvement. Has anyone EVER got rid of oral thrush and if so how did you manage it?

One for those who take warfarin
Evening All, Just a quickie, I recently treated an outbreak of athlete's foot with some
Daktarin
ointment which I bought over the counter. I did read the instructions found inside the box and learnt that cream as its an anti fungal can upset your INR.
