I’ve been asked if Daktarin for oral thrush is safe to use if you take Bisoprolol and have heart problems.

Sadly I have no idea of drug interactions with Bisoprolol. I was moved from an ace inhibitor to bisoprolol, as I was getting short of breath and awful cough at night on ramipril. I don't seem to have any problems with bisoprolol.

yes Riverside, Bisoprolol hasn’t caused me, or others that I know take it, any problems.

Daktarin is a short term medication that a friend needs to take who is also on Bisoprolol, but the instructions for taking Daktarin mention not to mix with heart medications. So I’m trying to find out if anyone on here takes the mix.

Thank you for your reply. My father took ramipril for some years and don’t think Bisoprolol was available for him in those days. Medicines today are more refined.

Take care.
