Advice for mums with children that have ADPKD
It scares me how many
cysts
they have in both kidneys, each time they go for a scan my anxiety hits the roof! What if there’s more scaring or
cysts
? How many more can fit in a 9cm kidney? For now their kidney function is fine and their blood pressure is at a good level.

Diagnosing Endo with MRI instead of laparoscopy
The gynaecologist could not put me at ease about my fertility health after removing the
cysts
and laparoscopy, which is why I was referred to a fertility specialist.

I had a laparoscopy done on 6th July where they found lots of

Few hours post laparoscopy - no endo found - don’t know what to do now :(
And was a bit dismissive 🙄 After surgery the nurse read my notes to me because the surgeon never came to speak to me because they found nothing - no endo, no fibroids, no
cysts
etc and my ovaries apparently are normal (even though on a previous scan it showed I had polycystic ovaries).

IBS vs IBD vs Cancer
Initially my test results showed cal protectin at 97 (would have tested further at 100+) and a normal sigmoidoscopy, sent to gynea and had ovarian
cysts
, monitored and then surgery found my abdominal wall had adhered to my intestines (2018), this gave no relief and gastro still only giving IBS as a diagnosis

Liver cysts - should I be worried ?
I had a scan last week for a suspected AAA which was negative but showed I have 6
cysts
on my liver. I’ve heard nothing from my GP since then. I’ve read that some people have one or two
cysts
and if you have ten
cysts
it’s considered polycystic liver disease. I seem to be somewhere in the middle.

New and confused about some hormone results
Additionally, I had 2 x large dermoid
cysts
removed 13yrs ago. My last scan when I was experiencing pain and thought they had come back, suggested I had very few
cysts
on my ovaries at the time (about 4yrs ago).

Is laparoscopy worth it if I'm not in severe pain? (Severe endo)
After multiple dipstick tests (that showed no UTI) I was referred to gynae, then an ultrasound (2
cysts
and adhesions), then an MRI (severe endo all over the bowel, ovaries and bladder).

Unusual Cervix referral
She said it looked as if I had some scarring and
cysts
on my cervix and it felt as if I had given birth multiple times. I have had two children both of which we tried natural delivery but we're unsuccessful so resulted in a c section.

Two step approach to chocolate cysts
Recommends a two step approach, drain the
cysts
(mine are bilateral and big), zoladex for three months, remove the rest of the
cysts
. He wants to preserve my AMH and try to prevent premature ovarian failure. One cyst is up to 19cm.

Goitre advice please! Getting desperate!
I am a 42 year old female. 7 years ago, I was diagnosed with a multi modular thyroid, during the ultrasound it showed up many
cysts
, one of which was 2cm in length. I am always aware of the goitre and can feel it pressing on my windpipe.

Prostap. Usual pain has gone but sharp ovarian pain?
Is it possible to STILL get
cysts
whilst on Prostap? I'm also on Tibilone HRT and have a Mirena coil institu? Any shared experiences or help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏 xx

Pain a 1 year after surgery?
So I had my laparoscopic surgery to clear
cysts
for my stage 2/3 endometriosis. I had the mirena coil put in but I am still having to take co-codamol for prolonged and tiring pain in my pelvis and hips which makes the tops up r my legs ache.

Thoughts on Zoladex?
The BGSE I have been referred to plans to put me on it after an initial surgery, because of the size of the
cysts
I'm dealing with. Then operate again a few months later. I've heard absolute nightmares about Zoladex but to keep my reproductive function there is not much I won't do at this point!

Ovary pain!?
I've had scans a year or 2 ago that show
cysts
on my right ovary which the doc said was fairly common with endo. I'm wondering whether when I ovulate I'm getting irritation or a build up of
cysts
on my ovary. After my period it seems to ease off again.

In two minds about surgery. Please help x
Then I don’t just want to leave things because I don’t know how bad things actually are as these
cysts
have only been diagnosed on a tv scan. Will having the cyst removed before IVF even make a difference and benefit me in anyway?
