Monitoring checks with zoladex
I don't want to take zoladex for more than 6 months but if I don't my
cysts
are killing my kidney my gynae said. I was told my surgery would be before Christmas but due to staff shortages they haven't even had the internal MDT which was scheduled for Oct.

More surgery needed
Hi all found out today that my ovarian
cysts
are back and whilst it’s good to get a diagnosis after months of increasing endometriosis pain it’s pretty upsetting to think I’m going to need another operation, there have been lots of tears today.

What is cyst bursting pain like?
Those that have had
cysts
burst what was the pain like? I have a 22cm mass, and the past week had a like stabbing pain that comes and goes in my left hand side under my hip bone for the last week. It's getting progressively worse. What I've read though is, it's a more traumatic pain?

Is this familiar?
In December I had an ultrasound of my bladder/kidney/ovaries and had no issues or
cysts
picked up. It may not even be endo, but I've been really struggling this month particularly, and wanted to at least see if anyone relates! I'm at the stage when I'm almost used to the problem.

X-ray for endo?
My gynaecologist has requested a scan for me as I may have new endo growth or ovarian
cysts
. The referral has come through but it’s an X-ray. Before I’ve only ever had ultrasound scans and an MRI. Would an X-ray pick up endo/
cysts
?? Thanks!

Any experiences with decapetyl?
Have just been diagnosed with stage 4 rectovaginal endometriosis with chocolate
cysts
by laparoscopy. My consultant recommends 3 months of decapetyl to suppress endo growth pre-op for a thorough excision surgery of my endo.

Ovarian cyst found 5 weeks AFTER laparoscopy - so confused!
I also had a ultrasound back in June of my ovaries to check them and they found no
cysts
. I’m just knocked for six as to where this has come from! Has anyone ever experienced similar? He said it will be up to my GP to decide what to do next. Thank you x

Anyone with experience on hydronephrosis?
I’ve had a scan 10 days ago and I measured 14.9 cm on the left kidney and 12.5 on the right, both dialated, both filled with wee and both covered in some rather large
cysts
. After my first pregnancy my renal issues all went away.

Waiting times York gynaecologist?
In the last 5 years I’ve had lots of pain and problems with ovarian
cysts
. I also have Crohn’s disease and 13 years ago had part of bowel removed and a temporary stoma. Because of my previous surgery the gynaecologist have always said they would not touch me surgery wise.

Endo, damaged Fallopian tubes and TTC
I have some
cysts
on my ovaries but the worst part is I have bilateral hydrosalpinx, basically inflamed, fluid filled Fallopian tubes. My partner and I have been TTC for 20 months now, nothing has happened. He has been checked out and is fine so the problem lies with me.

How did everyone feel after lap?
Hi I just had my lap 5 days ago where I had 3
cysts
removed and they found endometriosis, which I'm relieved about because I finally have an answer. Anyway I stayed in overnight as everytime I got up I went sick and dizzy, nothing major but as it was quite late they decided I might as well stay in.

Endo pain with mirena 12 months on
Do you think its likely new growths of endometrial tissue, benign
cysts
(the common type from being on the mirena), just mirena pain or something else?

After some advice and some personal experiences!
After around 6 years struggling with pelvic related issues (PID,
cysts
, pain & heavy periods) I am now under gynae having investigations into endo. Over the last couple of years I have had bowel symptoms that have gotten worse (the last 2 months getting unbearable).

Non-surgical management of thyroid nodules - the role of ablative therapies
Conclusions: Thermal ablation, particularly RFA, is becoming an attractive option for managing a subgroup of solid thyroid nodules while PEI has a role in managing thyroid
cysts
and a select group of PTMC.
