anyone taking? Benefits? I took NAC years ago but stopped when I saw ads on TV for it. Sounded like too much of a panaceas. Thank you 😊

My PCP recommended it when I was diagnosed with MS. She also recommended it for my husband. She showed me several studies indicating that by reducing inflammation, it may help several conditions. I don’t take it very consistently. I’m afraid I eventually threw away all the links she shared.

I, too, am reluctant to get on any bandwagon recommending any particular supplement. I want to feel pretty sure I’m not throwing money away.

I just listened to podcast to andrew Huberman interview Dr Pater Attia about NAC. Basically, we need NAC to energize all we do, we just don’t know if supplementing, especially via oral route, increases our NAC or has any affect on health and longevity. NAC decreases with aging. Further research needed. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

p.s. thanks for replying. I was first told about it after a consult with Neuro nurse practitioner and functional medicine practitioner megan weigel because they were excited about NAC at John Hopkins.

I did for a while, but then switched to lysosomal glutathione and NAD; those I actually feel or see working. I stopped all immune altering supplements/vitamins for Mavenclad, but NAC is still one I'm curious about. Do you have a link for the podcast you mentioned?

It's 2 different liquids. You take on an empty stomach and hold in mouth for 30 sec, and wait 10min before eating. The melatonin is also a liquid squirt.
