Hi, I was prescribed the 6 injections every 2 days. Soon after the fourth injection I developed red bumpy skin on my forehead some of which looked like spots. After the 5th I developed a cluster of similar spots along my jawline that were uncomfortable. This is very unusual for me. My husband is administering

low B12/ fatigue
Hi all, after waiting over 2 wks to talk to a GP (not mine) we had a conversation about my recent medichecks results which showed inflammation/ low B12 and folate! The GP really didn’t want to accept the results stating they didn’t know how their machines are calibrated! She suggested having a blood

Update GP lied to our faces and some links for purchasing b12 please
So I updated you all last week on the visit to go last week where I believed she was gaslighting myself and my partner. Since then we have managed to access his medical records. One of the things I mentioned to her was his low result 5 years ago which was 222. She then went on to say he was tested 3

Folate levels
Hi I recently started SI twice a day thanks to the advice of the wonderful people here I recently had surgery and this seems to have thrown my B12 levels out of wack. My twitching has been moderate the past week which I put down to the extra B12 although I hoped it would settle down.Having the odd

Just wondered what members thought of this, on 200mcg Accord Levo. TSH 0.01 range 0.27 to 4.2 FT4 21.2 range 12-22 FT3 5.2 range 3.6-6.8. Does this show poor conversion? I supplement Vitamin D, B12, B complex and folate. I know if my NHS GP sees this he'll reduce dose based on TSH result and I've

Postpartum depression
A recent release described a newly-developed drug for postpartum depression. Effects of the drug are said to last 45days. Cost is greater than $10,000 USD. No mention was made at all of nutrients. I seemed to recall a connection between postpartum depression and B12; a quick search on regular Google

Supplements to reduce glutamate
I was inspired by Widebody's comments on taurine and glycine to look into supplements that reduce glutamate. I found the following on an autism website that I cannot vouch for, but here is the list: (those of us taking gabapentin, pregabalin, horizont are taking medicine that is reducing brain glutamate
