Anti coagulation in preparation for Cryo ablation
I'm slated to have a
cryoablation
in less than 4 weeks and do not take anti coagulants (AC) because since I had a cardioversion over a year ago I've been almost always in NSR, albeit with lots of ectopics, and my Chad score is 0.

cryoablation
Going into my 7th week after
cryoablation
and having problems with my acid reflux getting a lot more worse. Feel sick on my stomach, pain in chest and feel full up to my throat. This recovery is horrible. One thing after the next. I take my acid blockers and added carafate and protoxix to the mix.

Cryoablation
Has anyone experienced (during
cryoablation
recovery) when you eat or finish a meal, that your heart flutters bad? I'm not having a great recovery these days. Had a bad bout of heart racing and trying to afib out but didn't go the whole way. Mentally not doing well either.

Writing again on my procedure. I,m out 5 weeks and started to feel slightly better. I have had some good days energy wise but last night I went into tachycardia and some hard flips. Needles to say it freaked me out! I told myself to calm down and took some deep breaths and worked on the vagus nerve.

Post cryoablation done February 4, questions and thoughts
I found this site and you fellow afibbers soon after CA and have learned a lot and wanted to share some information. First I am 65 male and first found I had Afib 7 years ago and got flecanide with EC which got me mostly NSR until this past September. Had a problem after colonoscopy in 2020 as mentioned

Post Wolf Minimaze - 11 days - feeling great
I did have a
cryoablation
in July 2018. The EP couldn't complete the procedure due to my heart block and I had to be paced about 5 minutes until my ticked off heart decided to beat again. The
cryoablation
probably has helped reduce the number of episodes.

Coming off medication
Had a
Cryoablation
9 weeks ago . After a conversation with the cardiologist/ EP we’ve decided to stop my Apixaban and also Carvedilol. I will gradually reduce the carvedilol over a few weeks before stopping completely . I will be monitoring my heart rhythm and BP etc.

Hi all . . . any and all opinions appreciated . . . on 3 Nov 2021 I underwent

and a treatment of atrial flutter and paroxysmal AFIB. My 7 day wait period went GREAT, until the morning of Wed 10 Nov, I threw my lower back out.

~Any one with PMR had PVI for Artial Fibrillation ?~
Underwent private PVI (
cryoablation
) 8 Feb 2022 as heart now in early heart failure & wanted to take every opportunity to try & slow further damage. Now having ongoing spikes in b/p every time I move from sitting to standing/walking, mainly in the morning & at night.

Back again
Had my
cryoablation
a couple of weeks ago. Following the ablation I’ve gone 10 days without any AF or ectopics. Unfortunately the ectopics and a short run of AF returned in the early hours of this morning. I know that we are told to expect this to happen during the early period after an ablation.

Post Ablation - Feeling Grateful
I'm posting now after having had a
cryoablation
for AF at Barts on 27th September. All is good so far with a nice steady sinus rhythm, fading bruising in the groin area and no infection of the small incision wound.

MSG as a trigger for ectopics?
I had a
cryoablation
in 2019 and thankfully have had limited heart related events since. I do, however, experience waves of ectopic beats. I did not experience these until 18 months ago.

Telephone consultation
I had a
cryoablation
done on mar 9th of this year, I thought by now 4 month later I would have been called by one of the team to have a chat about my meds and recovery progress. Anyone else have to wait longer than 4 months? Thanks for reading this.

CRYOABLATION - Sedation
Hi everyone, just an update from my post 4 days ago. I received a callback from cardiologist who has explained what happened with my ablation, all was going well until they went to the right atrium, they found it was small and the balloon was inserted and hit the nerves at the side hence the intense

Six years on
Six years to the day since my
cryoablation
for paroxysmal AF. Carried out by Prof. Richard Schilling at London Bridge. Thanks to him and his team I have been totally AF and drug free for the last six years. It is hard to express how much better my quality of life is.

Rivaoxaban
I am on Rivaoxaban following
cryoablation
for an irregular heart beat (2019). I have had two episodes of the most horrific joint pain in a knee, (resulting in an ambulance trip to hospital).
