Thanks for reply, I had one in March this year and apart from a bout of AF in the first few weeks and some ectopics I am not done too badly. I was just wandering if anyone has been going without AF since ablation for a long period of time.

I had my cryo in 2008 and apart from odd episodes for which I take a pill in the pocket (Flecainide) things are good.

Wow that is very encouraging to people who are thinking about or who have recently had an ablation done. Thanks for the reply Jay10

It will be 2 years in 3 days for me. No AF and no meds since November 5, 2019.

I had a PVI cryoablation in August 2018 (39 months ago) and I've been completely AF free since. 😀 It was a total game changer for me - restored my QoL.

That’s great Breezara, AF was very symptomatic for me and I just struggled so much with it, feels good to be in NSR. Hope it continues for you 👍
