I think I'm leaning slightly more to cryoablation but not by much.

I had cryoablation on March'24. Since my ablation (3months post) I take no meds whatsover.

Much relieved to have confirmation from Arrythmia Nurse that they see no reason not to use Therapulse while in recovery period from a cryoablation for Atrial Fibrillation.

Cryoablation last November. So far so good, apart from one 2.5 hour AF episode 3 months ago, which stopped on its own. I have been advised by the cardiologist NOT to take a PIP flecanide (or anything else) if I get AF in future because my resting HR is very low normally (below 50).

A recent biopsy revealed a Gleason 4+3 with PNI and I have scheduled focal salvage cryoablation at Duke Cancer Center on December 11. This is a recurring cancer following primary radiation 10 years ago.

Had my first cryoablation yesterday at Papworth (including a cardioversion just to top it off). All went well, apart from voice being a bit croaky afterwards (no intubation) and slight crackle in lung starting. Returned home, went to bed, good sleep but crackles getting worse overnight.

Last time it was Cryoablation. Next time it will be a general anaesthetic but last time it was just a local and a sedative. I guess I feel a little bit more optomisitc having been very down this last few weeks and feeling a failure for first ablation not working.

It’s nine years ago to the day that I had cryoablation for Paroxysmal AF. For the first seven years I had no episodes at all but since then have had two short episodes which self terminated. I have been off all drugs. The Flecainide immediately and Bisoprolol tapered after three months.

I was offered a Cryoablation earlier in the year which I declined, I am now booked in for a Pulsed Field Ablation on the 12th of November. Procedure is about 1 hour and is very safe in comparison to RF or Cryo ablations.

He then told me that they will do another EP study to confirm SVT and that I can get cryoablation, which I will be getting in two weeks. I'm feeling extremely anxious, and that's all I can think about. I'm scared I might die.

Yesterday was the last day of apixaban for me after I went for cryoablation 3 months ago. I stopped propafenone one month ago and can say finally I'm off any medications after almost 8 months.

OK here’s a weird one: I had my cryoablation three weeks ago and am recovering well. Wanting a treat, and feeling that I was looking old, I booked myself a face massage for tomorrow. But the therapist is worried about doing it this soon after ablation.

UPDATE: Cryoablation done, recovering nicely. I had a phone call Friday……. ablation now booked Monday 13th May! At Basildon. I have read lots about recovery and realise it depends how much is done and on the individual.

Having a cryoablation procedure 1/31/24 at Sloan Kettering in New York City. It will be followed by chemo and other drugs to target HER 2. Anyone have any experience with cryoablation to treat aggressive breast cancer?

check-ups with the cardiologist and they tell me that I don't need pharmaceutical drugs I have not had any episodes of afib except during the ablation for svt when at the end of the procedure they did stimulation for other tachycardias and they found afib. after a week they did pulmonary vein isolation, cryoablation
