High blood pressure when I get Af
First one since my
cryoablation
11 months ago. Why dies my usually low/ perfect blood pressure shoot up when the af hits? No hbp before? Should it not be low when af hits? Any views and reassurance welcome 🙏 Rod

Salvage Cryoablation
So..my UroOnc wants to pursue
cryoablation
after my failed radiotherapy (EBRT/LDR Brachytherapy ). I don't know yet if I can have focal only cryo or have to have whole prostate ablation. I know the ED outcome is bad, but has anyone else had this treatment and how are you doing afterward?

Has my cryoablation failed?
Had
cryoablation
four weeks ago. After seven days I went into afib for 8 hours and went back to sinus rhythm with extra beta blocker. Bpm my heart was doing well at 58-60.

Not sure about risking a re-do ablation at 77.
I had a
cryoablation
in Dec 19 which was not the success I had hoped for My AF has not improved and the meds I take Flec and Bisoprolol are giving me side effects that aIre almost worse than the AF.

6 Months Post Ablation
My
cryoablation
was not without any incidences but with an exceptional EP I was lucky that everything went well in the end. I was home just after an overnight stay at the hospital. I checked in a day earlier for my CT angiogram.

Cryoablation for my Afib
Just had the
Cryoablation
this past Monday. Used general anesthesia and seemed like a non event. Recovery the next 2-3 days was tougher than I expected. Felt like I fell off a roof. What concerned me until finding this site was my bruising. Was shocked how much bruising I got in my arm and groin.

Medicines after cryoablation
Has anyone had cryroablation for AFIB then gotten off meds prior to procedure? My procedure was 2 years ago and I am still on all meds prior to procedure. I have had no episode of AFIB in 12 months.

Physical changes since recent cryoablation.
I am a 62 year old male and had a
cryoablation
in early December and so far no afib episodes since which is beyond pleasing. Currently still on the same medication I was on before, Flecainide , Bisoprolol and Apixaban.

Cryoablation or Drug Therapy for initial Treatment of atrial fibrillation.
This is a landmark study, and the New England Journal of Medicine generally only publishes really interesting and well controlled studies.Perhaps,if you were not sure of,or on the fence of whether to have
Cryoablation
or drug therapy, this excellent study will help.

All very different.
I had a
Cryoablation
September 2019. 8 weeks ago tomorrow I had an RF ablation. Didn’t know I was having a RF until hour before procedure. I assumed recovery from RF would be same.ish as Cryo. Oh how wrong I was from the minute I came too in recovery. It has all been so very different.

Cryoablation feedback after six months.
Hi, me again. Hopefully, these little ditties are helpful for someone out there! All was going well until a few weeks ago when I had two episodes of fast heart rate which required a pill in the pocket intervention to calm down. I took that after 15 mins and it worked after 15 minutes. Luckily although

Ablation review + thyroid review......
Back in 2016, I had a
Cryoablation
which started OK but I needed a RF ablation in September 2018 mainly because there had been a problem treating one of my pulmonary veins. Everything was fine, but in the last six months of last year I had 7 episodes followed by another 2 up to July this year.

48hours and counting...
I didn’t know until I signed consent form an hour before 2nd ablation that this time it was radio-ablation and not
cryoablation
. I figured there was a good reason and trust Dr Todd implicitly. Oh foolish me thinking I know what to expect afterwards and recovery.........wrong!

Cryoablation
He told me he can see my problem and explained i was getting 1 and a half pulse instead of two and that i am down on the waiting list for a
cryoablation
. He said it is a rogue pulmonary vein that is causing the problem.

Next came Flecanide as a PIP.Again worked well for a time .Eventually had a
