Castor oil for loss of sense of smell (anosmia, hyposmia)
Had never heard of this use for castor oil before: https://www.healthline.com/health/how-to-regain-sense-of-smell-naturally#methods-to-try Came across this when reading up on castor oil which I have been using successfully to treat eyelid inflammation (blepharitis). I'm also going to try using it as

Hypersensitivity post circumcision
Hi, I am on my 8th week at the moment, have had partial circum followed by frenuloplasty. Healing and all is going well and the hypersensitivity of glans is much reduced upto an extent that it won’t pain or discomfort in under garments or a slight tap. But any sort of sudden rubbing by hand or tissue

Hi, I am on my 7th week post partial circum, I would like to share some of my experience just in case anyone here looking to go for Partial Circumcision. Castor Oil
I said that I would report back after another catheterization. I just inserted a catheter and it went in as if there were virtually no obstruction. Unless it is just expectation and that I can some how control my sphincter which I haven't been able to in over a year, probably two. Getting ready for

No one will believe this
I have had difficult urinating for years. I have posted about catheter horrors and about finally finding one that works, sort of. I believe I have scar tissue at my bladder neck because that is where the cath encounters difficult in insertion. My urologist wanted to do another TURP, no way, it took

Lower Right Quadrant Pain
Hi, I have IBS and about a week ago started up with stabbing/twisting pains in my LRQ after mistakenly eating udon (didn't know it was wheat). I get pain around the belly button, right side and then down into the ileocecal area. Nothing helps. Not Tylenol or castor oil packs. It has waxed and waned for

Re weight loss
Back on Bydureon and on a low dose of
Crestor
, my cholesterol has improved dramatically and my A1C is 7.0 which is right where my POC wants it. Triglycerides are slightly elevated, and liver enzymes are better than 6 months ago, but still slightly elevated.

Has anyone tried castor oil to shrink nodules?
I have subclinical hyperthyroidism and a goitre with nodules ,I have been using castor oil topically to shrink my thyroid/nodules and haven't noticed any changes yet, though I have only been using it for a few months a few times a week. Has anyone tried this home remedy to shrink nodules/goitre with success

Dad/Heart Risk with ADT. Almost 3 years in PSA good.
He is taking
Crestor
(10mgs/week). He's 75 and I'm trying to get him more active but would dexamethasone be better than prednisone? Not sure if a vacation or reducing the Zytiga by 1 is worth it...? He looks unhealthy and both his parents died under 80 of heart and stroke.

FET...it begins all over again!
Hi girls! Wow it’s been ages since I’ve put anything on here or since I’ve even last felt comfortable discussing my IVF/ICSE journey. So in the last 3 years, I’ve gone through a fresh cycle and a frozen cycle, both of which were unsuccessful. Then last year we went through a new fresh cycle but I had

Bladder neck contracture
I have a bladder neck contracture that makes urinating difficult I was able to insert catheters with difficulty so I was not terribly concerned about being very far from competent medical care. It is a 4 hour drive to a hospital with a urologist on call and my local very good primary care doctor told

Bit of a setback
Finally back on the Bydureon for the last 7 weeks, as well as on a low dose of
Crestor
. I am both curious and hopeful that this improves my liver.
