Managing endo pain

Hi ☺️

Just wondering if anyone has found a miracle cure for managing endometriosis pain whilst on period 🙏

I get weekly acupuncture, use castor oil packs, take my pain killers days before period is due but nothing seems to be helping manage the pain 😥. Contraception isn't an option at the moment, I'm on the waiting list for ivf.

I had a lap last year which diagnosed stage 4 endo with a frozen pelvis but unfortunately they didn't remove anything as my bowel was involved - very annoying that they done nothing at all...

Thanks

The only thing that vaguely works for me is ‘vapain’ a strong painkillers on prescription. It’s very strong though! The pains I get are so horrific so I do sympathise x

I was diagnosed in May 2013 stage 4 endo, horrendous periods preventing me from functioning daily, I went gluten free and dairy free in November had 2 periods since 4 days long and minimal pain. Add as much fruit and veg to your diet as you can along with 2L of water per day ❤

Google Livia device. It’s like a tens machine but targets chronic period pain. I find it can really help with a bad flare up. I bought mine online from USA website but then was clobbered with import tax, maybe you can buy in U.K. now or on Amazon. Worth every penny.
