In light of abnormal tests you will probably need further investigations and in which case if you are undergoing tests with as yet no diagnosis then you probably will need to disclose to insurance because should you go abroad and then have problems you're insurance will be invalidated if this is something you were under investigation for.
There have been a couple of high profile cases on the news recently of folks who have become seriously ill abroad and who's insurance was invalidated due to them not having disclosed their investigations and diagnosis.

If in doubt, always disclose to the travel insurers. But unless there is an urgent need to do that now it makes sense to wait until you have spoken to the GP and have a better idea of what you are dealing with.
