First post….Does anyone know what this test result means for 48yr old male:

Microalb/Creat Ratio

Normal range: 0.0 - 29.9 mg MA/g CR

“Not calculated since one of the components of the calculation is outside of the analyzer's measurable range.”

Creatinine

I think you need to talk with your doctor to determine if the creatinine level you are asking about is correct, because i think you might be missing a decimal point in the lab value. I am thinking it could be either 1.24 or 12.4 (and those are very different labs values and have different meanings for your kidney function and your health.

This is what i found on the mayo clinic website:

Serum creatinine is reported as milligrams of creatinine to a deciliter of blood (mg/dL). Or it's reported as micromoles of creatinine to a liter of blood (mmol/L). The typical range for serum creatinine is:

For adult men, 0.74 to 1.35 mg/dL (65.4 to 119.3 mmol/L).

On the renal panel it says 1.36 mg/dl

If that is the lab value you should probably talk with your physician who ordered your labs and find out why its elevated and if they think you need further testing.
