1st night CPAP... dismal failure!
Tried my best but couldnāt quite get the mask to fit as snug as the nurse yesterday. Couldnāt stop the air blowing onto my right eye and if i tightened it up it felt too restricting. Managed an hour which i suppose is a start and will experiment later. Meanwhile off to Emsworth to feed the Gulls with

Help with my full CPAP mask please.
Sleep Apnoea I have been using a
CPAP
Resmed AirSense 10 Series machine for 3 + years, started on a nose mask . Took to it like a duck to water and was so pleased to finally be sleeping well. It has always been a positive thing for me.

Sleep Apnea and mpns
Iām having great difficulty adjusting to the
CPAP
because I have to wear a mask that pumps air all night long and itās extremely uncomfortable and annoying. The doctors keep saying it takes time to adjust and to keep trying because sleep apnea is a serious condition.

Hashimotos, in range. Should I take 25mcg Levoxyl?
CPAP
no help. A new GP says he will try me in 25mcg Levoxyl today, not Synthroid or levothyroxine. eople on here said for me to start at least 50mcg. Doc wants to go methodically slow because of antibodies, and because of the jitters I got on thyroid medication I self-took.

AHI on CPAP - Relation to ectopics/Afib
Sleep Apnea folks on
CPAP
,...Have you observed a relationship between your overnight AHI and your burden of Ectopics and/or Afib the next day? I have mild/borderline Sleep Apnea, apparently only while on my back. I am limited to a pressure of 6.5 due to severe Aerophagia (Swallowing air/gas).

Obstructive Sleep Aonoea or not?
Hello I have seen other posts on here that suggests people with mild obstructive sleep apnoea can be provided with
CPAP
. I have just been turned down by Yeovil hospital as they say I only have mild sleep apnoea and they will not provide
CPAP
on NHS because it is only mild.

How long to expect someone to be intubated for?!
First 2 were with oxygen masks/
CPAP
etc and the last week intubated. ā¹ļø Weāre just devastated...there hasnāt been much improvement with nanās breathing/oxygen...but could there still be hope? Would you class āone weekā as early days? Iām just scraping for some positive stories and hope right now.

CPAP user dental problems
Does anyone have any advice on dental care? I'm sure the pressure of the mask cushions on my gums is causing my 'long in the tooth' look. I use a humidifier as am a mouth breather. A chin strap is not possible for me due to the venous malformation I have in my mouth that is the cause of my OSAS. Any

My dad is back on a ventilator
On Sunday he was taken off the ventilator and put on
cPap
and the bubble helmet. I spoke to him and we was all over the moon but he's been very agitated and has not been able to remove the mucus on his own and he now has another infection.

Hello everyone Newbie here
I have lost about 12kgs so Liver Stiffness test at the Hospital came back normal, Inhaler has stopped my Asthma attacks, got a
CPAP
machine which has sorted my Apnoea. I went on symptom checker on the Patient info website and it came back with possible B12 deficiency.

Cream for facial area
I also wear a
CPAP
mask to sleep, so have to be careful with what I use, as it can corrode the mask, or be dangerous to breath in. Thanks

No Sleep Thanks to Afib
I should mention I have a
CPAP
as of 2019 for apnea btw. My primary doctor thinks I actually have a form of PTSD resulting from that week two years ago. The waking up throughout the night is really doing a number on my body.
