Belfast Marathon 30th April 2023
I could write another essay on this but short answer is that I am someone who suffers from anxiety all my life and had a bad break down (due to thing out of my control), have sought help and done everything from doctors to
counselling
to help.

Feeling ‘flat’ a year after bypass
I was being referred for some diabetes
counselling
before this happened but I took myself off the waiting list. The daily routine of planning, injections, testing, calculations etc is wearing at times. Thanks for reading my post and I hope people can relate. X

Got medication but theres a catch
I asked him about treatment and he's telling me to refer myself to
counselling
. I tell him I need some help in the form of medication. He is very reluctant to help, telling me that they only work 25% of the time etc. I then say look I need to at least try them.

16-yo Daughter just diagnosed with ADHD
We now have the ADHD diagnosis I had suspected for some time. But the ADHD is alongside Depression. I'm feeling discouraged because over the years she has always resisted counseling, which we've tried several times (she struggles more than our other kids when things don't go her way), resists medication

Aviva - Excluding Endometriosis as a "Chronic" Condition
It's had an impact on both of our mental health terribly, I'm getting myself
counselling
but my wife is refusing to get mental health support as she thinks the physical element needs to be sorted first. The Endo was removed in 2018 and this was followed up with a hysterectomy in 2019.

ADHD support group in / near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho?
Hi all. My partner may have undiagnosed adult ADHD. I'm looking for resources and support groups near Coeur d'Alene (CDA). Ideally I'd like to meet and chat with people who might be able to share their insights and experiences. E.g. where can I find a good counseling service near CDA? Thanks!

Is anyone familiar with Canadian resources? (B.C. Canada)
doctor and it seems like they they give anyone a diagnosis - basically feel like I was scammed out of $250 I was referred to another specialist and wanted over 6 months to be told it will cost $2000 - none of it is covered by MSP and my work insurance only covers $400 which I have already used up on

Living with assymetry
I’ve been to
counselling
and it doesn’t help. I’m worried I’m going to feel like this for the rest of my life. It’s at the point where I don’t want to see anyone or even look at any one because I just find myself obsessing over their jawline etc and anxious about mine.

I encouraged her to seek
counselling
and to see a psychiatrist because she needs expert help. I told her that these professionals have helped me in the past many times when I wasn’t able to stay afloat, just by talking to me and encouraging me.

Beginning to readjust to life with PMR
I am also accessing 6 weeks of free
counselling
through work to help me reframe my perspective . So, baby steps, but good ones. I saw a consultant privately for my original diagnosis and am seeing one of the rheumatology team this week under my NHS referral. What questions should I be asking ?

Life long Suffering
I've gone thru numerous medications,
counselling
, group therapies, etc. Although some of these examples have been helpful, I still find myself going down that spiral fall where I'm back to feeling sad, depressed, feeling of unworthy, stupid, useless. the list goes on.

Most of us are all scared shitless!
GPs can refer people for
counselling
, psychotherapy or help through an online mental health service, such as Living Life to the Full. 9. Go back to basics! Lots of people turn to alcohol or drugs to self-treat anxiety, but this will only make matters worse.

worried about colon issues.
hello guys, I’ve got a lot to run over. I’ve recently had bowel changes over the last year. Some red spotting very small on toilet paper. I’ve had hemorriods before and did a fecal test and no blood was found in my poop. I deal with constipation and feeling like I have to go but can’t sometimes or just

Tired of living like this! There has to be a better way!
I am so tired of living like this. Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, childhood neglect. I feel totally stupid and useless today! I really do! Earlier this morning I tried to do a good deed, see a friend to drop off a gift. In the process I nailed a curb, to the point where my car, our only car is on it’s way
