As you may know, I am fairly new on here. Diagnosed promptly at the beginning of March I am learning how to readjust and learning what I can and can't do. I did far too much on Friday so I know I will rest all day today . I have ordered some decent frozen meals from COOK for the days I'm too tired. I have a plan to reduce my teaching hours and hope to see my boss next week to discuss. I am also accessing 6 weeks of free counselling through work to help me reframe my perspective . So, baby steps, but good ones. I saw a consultant privately for my original diagnosis and am seeing one of the rheumatology team this week under my NHS referral. What questions should I be asking ? The pharmacist at our GP has already made contact and has requested a blood test in June to check for blood sugar levels . I reduced to 10mg from 12.5 last week , entry level in March was 15. I've been a bit achy and twingy at 10mg so pharmacist prescribed some 1mg in case I needed to go up to 11mg for a while . I am fortunate with our GP practice, I know others are not as lucky

Good thinking from you and your pharmacist-just make sure you don’t let the achy/twingy symptoms escalated -in fact in may be a good idea to take 11mg anyway certainly until you see new Rheumy team…and if they question why, tell them.
As for appointment, maybe have a look at this link-

All sounds very helpful and what is needed. If only everyone was as lucky.
