Cosopt eye drops

hello all, I have been on cosopt preservative free eye drops now since November…. previously I was on all sorts of drops after having a laser iridotomy, an enlargement and subsequently now have high eye pressures which the cosopt eye drops are controlling.

I have had Trabulectomy in one eye and the pressure in the other eye is currently being controlled by Cosopt and Monopost.

Does anyone know if there is a difficulty with the supply of Cosopt in bottles at the moment? This is the second time at my. GP pharmacist has switched me to unit doses (both multi bottle and unit doses should be preservative free) and it feels very frustrating.

Unfortunately my IOP (eye pressure) have started to increase so my Consultant has change my eye drops from Latanoprost (Monopost ) 1 drop daily to Dorzolamide/Timolol Cosopt 2 drops daily.

waiting 18 months for a checkup instead of the year it said on my medical papers I finally got a hospital appointment, I have POAG and the timalol and latanaprost combination drop once a day in the morning wasn't hacking it anymore and my eye pressures were back up to 26 each eye.I now have to take Cosopt

I am now 38 weeks pregnant and they have switched me to cosopt eyedrops preservative free twice a day.

I am currently being prescribed Cosopt and Monopost I’m hoping that they will suggest another eyedrop to go with these.

Hello, I am currently using Cosopt and Monoprost drops for my glaucoma, which according to my consultant, seem to be keeping my pressures at an acceptable level. After a recent health check, my GP has advised me to take Atorvastatin 20 mg daily.

I was initially diagnosed with thickened corneas in the late 1990s - then had a vitreous detachment in 2009 and diagnosed with Fuchs plus Glaucoma suspect with early stage cataracts - was treated with Cosopt until I moved areas in 2021 - since then I’ve had different diagnoses from a hole in my macula

November 2023 Stopped Cosopt a month before appointment pressure’s back up to 29 and 36. Back on Cosopt twice a day. February 2024 Taking Cosopt twice a day pressures 19 in each eye.

Dr gave me brimonidine, I also use cosopt and xalatan on that eye. I had dry eyes also and in Montenegro we don’t have PF drops for glaucoma. Dr told me if pressure don’t came down we will repeat iridiotomy. If that fail to, we will do lens extraction.

Good morning, I am suffering from bad lower backache, I wanted to check if I am ok to take Ibuporfen whilst taking Cosopt eye drops twice a day. I have looked online etc but cannot find anything. I have taken Paracetamol but it’s just not shifting. Many thanks

I now have high OP and this is controlled by Cosopt Preservstive Free drops…. this all came about after having the laser surgery for narrow angles and since then my eye pressure has been high.

I am on a strict regime of drops in the operated eye - antibiotics four times a day, Prednisolone every two hours plus Cosopt twice a day - oh, any some Thealoz drops for my dry eyes if needed!

The pressure was elevated even though I use Cosopt and Monopost as the trabeculectomy has now failed 3 years post surgery. I have now been prescribed Iopidine eye drops and schedule for an Aqueous Shunt in June. Has anyone had any experience of using Iopidine.

I have just had my eye drops changed to Cosopt (preservative free) but my weaker eye has reacted to them and both eyes sting when I add the drops , wondered if anyone else has had to stop using them sure to the same issue Thanks

I use Cosopt and Lumigan eye drops in single dose containers. I am due to fly to France in September and am a little confused as to how these are allowed on the plane, especially in my hand luggage. I have googled this but keep getting conflicting information.

I am currently only on Cosopt twice a day and have been for a few months. This is the first time my eyes have felt like this though. Does anyone have any recommendations could compress, eye pillow, ointment etc…. Many thanks Katy

Which was the appointment on the 13th The consultant said to try Cosopt and Monopost and he would see me again in 6 weeks. He then dropped the Bombshell, I couldn’t drive until I had passed the DVLA test.
