T3 Only Users Advice
Hello, I have posted a few times here and have always received great advice. I am struggling a lot with my treatment. I switched to T3 only but reacted poorly to the fillers in Cytomel (combined with being under medicated). I had to switch back to NDT, which I also do not feel well on, more weight

Some info on cortisol.
Read an interesting article today, thought I'd post basics. Link at the bottom for whole article. *Must get results from Saliva testing not blood. Bewildered by tests - any suggestions?
Over the last 3 years I have been suffering from exhaustion following a viral disease diagnosed as shingles. I have also slowly but steadily lost weight despite progressively eating more (50% more than NHS thinks I need to eat to maintain my weight) and I am now about 5kg underweight. Blood tests (

Not Addisons, so now what?
Make no mistake, 4 weeks ago I was suicidally fatigued, exhausted, dead on my feet, and the Hydrocortisone has changed my life (the endocrine again: 'yes well we would all feel a little better from taking a bit of
cortisone
dear'). Now what?

Low cortisol morning
Hello, I got Dutch test done and it showed Low cortisol in the morning. Higher in the evening. I feel so tired specially mornings. Could raising my Ferritin help with cortisol levels? Or taking Melatonin supplement?

Hypo patient with low cortisol
On 25mcg of levothyroxine and 10mcg of T3: I am close to coming off it and on a special medical based diet: no autoimmune disease however, I got low cortisol levels due to environmental and personal circumstances.... I found out my condition is dietary and my kidneys are the root cause of my condition

Rhodiola Rosea
Does anyone take Rhodiola Rosea, which is said to balance cortisol levels thru the day? I have very low cortisol in the morning and too high at night. I bought Swanson 400mg and it just says take 1 capsule 1 or 2 times per day with water. So do I take 1 in the morning to give me energy and hope this

Labs say normal?
Hi, new here and a bit confused by the results of a recent lab test. It said that it was all in the normal range and it was (some were low normal though). Pseudogout and Hypothyrodism?
I'm not on any treatment and they won't let me have
cortisone
injections anymore as I'm too young. It says you can have it if you have hypothyroidism? Has anyone else been diagnosed with Pseudogout?

Unsettled thyroid results
I congenital hypothyroidism. I am 38 yrs old. My T4 levels have been very unsettled for the last 10 years or so and had 3 monthly blood tests throughout. My GPs kept saying that my t4 levels are abnormal and kept altering my levothyroxine dosage. I am now taking 175mcg. I have never been offered

Adrenal insufficiency
Could I ask for people feed back on recent BH tests? All the nhs tests, I was told, were normal (one taken in a very stressful situation in A and E. One was a short synacthen test, which gp did and said was normal) However, I paid for a BH saliva cortisol test, which came back as all 4 readings throughout

Siatica nerve
He gave me a few options to help this, try to treat it first with meds for a month to see if it helps , my other options were physical therapy or a
cortisone
shot in my spine. I'm trying the meds first time see if it helps if it doesn't I'll do physical therapy.

Getting cortisone shot
Hi I need to get a
cortisone
shot in my hip for mild bursitis. Do you know if that would be bad for my heart and AF? My EP said it was ok when I got one in my knee two weeks ago but I am having my first ablation in 9 days. Thanks
