Instead of waiting until problems begin and then trying to treat it, I've started applying a
cortisone
cream within 5 minutes of injecting and at least once more later in the day. It's made a huge difference in the redness and nasty itching.

I've been taking NDT since November 2016, I'm now on 2 grains per day along with 2500mcg B12 & a B complex. I'm feeling much better on the NDT but I am still unable to lose any of the 3 stone I've put on. The endo said that if I'm taking NDT & the weight still isn't moving there is something else going

Should I take Naturethroid after 34 years on Levothyroxine
I have been seeing an endo privately after being diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and being told I couldnt see an NHS endo because my t4 blood test was fine after the docs reduced my levo from 100mcg to 75mcg because they said it was the levo causing the afib. I felt really ill which is why I went

Panicky feelings and anxiety and the thyroid
Hi, I'm not on medication for the thyroid. I have this very uncomfortable issue that more resurfaced after trial with a thyroid medicine. When I get under lots of lights, my eyes get very sensitive to bright lights, my eyes dry, I get super dizzy and in some cases so dizzy that I feel I could collapse

Severe pain mid and upper back
The doctors have tried trigger injections with
cortisone
without relief. I had an acupuncture treatment a week ago and the back pain has intensified to the point that none of the pain meds are really helping. I get some relief floating on my back in the pool.

Research - TSH above 2 possibly abnormal and is associated with high cortisol
Hey guys Just found this which found that a TSH above 2 is significantly related with high cortisol in healthy men and women and therefore conclude that TSH above 2 should possibly be deemed abnormal. There was no correlation with high cortisol and TSH under two nor with T3/T4 levels. I expect this has

Acute knee pain
He said that it was a rheumatic problem allied to the polymyalgia and gave me an injection of
cortisone
into the knee. No suggestion of increasing the dose, thankfully. Since then it has improved considerably with only mild pain if I stand or walk too far.

Looking for help and guidance on starting T3 only
Hi, I am looking for some help and guidance from you lovely people, having now run out of enough money to be able to buy meds/supps AND consult my private doctor (PD). You have been so helpful in the past :-) In March I saw a PD, he ran tests and diagnosed hypothyroidism (due to converting T4 to T3)

Epidural steroid injections or normal steroid injections?
In Europe they don't use epidurals but do
cortisone
injections on the gluteus parts and they work just as well. Any thought on this please? I am now on codeine amptrillyn anadin and osteopath care.
