MVD/CAS and ganglian block
Has anyone had a ganglian block done to try alleviate some of the chronic pain? Meds not helping, going to have a stent soon as there is 76% block on RCA. Whilst this may not help with the mvd or CAS the cardiologist has suggested being referred for a ganglian block if there is no improvement after stent

BETA BLOCKER
I know these sounds weird, but I ran out of Beta Blocker for a few days and guess what I no longer have ectopics beats. I cannot believe that they were the cause, but they must have been. I was initially prescribed them when I had palpitations before I had a stent fitted and they work a charm, but after

Kidney/Ureter/Bladder Reconstructive Surgery Recovery Time?
I will be one year with my new blessed kidney on November 26. I have had 2 rejections and countless surgical procedures mostly due to a narrowing of the ureter causing a backflow of urine from my bladder to my kidney and causing my kidney to swell. After several stent replacements, 2 unsuccessful

A new path - 6 weeks after Aortic Valve and Root Op
Hi, Today (6 weeks and 2 days) my surgeon has 'discharged' me following telephone follow-up conversation. Based on my description of current level of exercise and discomfort (close to zero) along with a photo of my scar taken this morning I am: - able to drive; and - removing PPI (unless indigestion

Should I go to A and E
Just had to use my gtn for the first time in 10 months. I’ve been really good and then those old feelings are back. It’s been a year since my stent. Gtn worked and feel ok now. Should I go to AandE ? Or call the doc?

Stent 6 yrs
So I was 36 had a heart attack 1 stent fitted ok since then minimal to no damage on all the meds. Saw my cardiologist once but never again. Why am I not under a consultant and why do I never have any scans or anything to make sure I'm still ok?

Zytiga and prednisone, bowel problems
Hi, my husband has been on Zytiga and prednisone for about 3 months, he also has a kidney stent due to prostate pressing on lymph node which in turn was blocking urine flow. His bowel habits have changed since then, ie loose stools and regularity changed. Anyone else with these problems? Thank you
