Home! Update

Well I’m home! Ended up in a&e on Sunday with very unstable angina, attacks on and off for hours. Then had a bad reaction to the new drug they gave me there (slow release nitro) bp kept crashing.. Cardiologist wanted to keep me in till the stent and said I was too high risk to go home. Had angioplasty today and had critical blockage in right coronary artery and that got stented, and what we thought was a severe blockage in the LAD (what the ct scan showed). turned out to be not too bad and was ballooned and was stable to be left without a stent. So I have 1 stent! Not as bad as I thought I was!! Also turns out I can’t be sedated, 3 doses of sedation did nothing so they had to give me a strong pain killer😂also did nothing so I was lying on the table crying, bless the nurse she was trying so hard to keep me calm! They tried to go in my arm and my artery spasmed, so they had to go in my leg. So full of holes, quite traumatised +1stent and now I think I will sleep for a week!

You must feel like a pin cushion for 12gauge needles with all you've been through but how great is it you 'only' needed one stent when it was all said and done.

Take it easy, get plenty of rest, and keep the cardiac nurse or other medic on speed dial while you recover:)

Thanks. I have number to phone if anything gets worrying. It’s was that 1 artery that was giving me all the bother.
