Confused about the NHS process for IVF
Hello My husband (age 37) and I (age 32) have been referred to the local infertility service via my GP in Leicestershire. My husband has severe oligospermia, so we were told by the embryologist that we would need ICSI. Also, my AMH is only 9pmol/l. I'm confused about what happens next... I've been

Can anyone recommend a b12 specialist in the south of England? And can burning in the buttocks be a symptom of b12 deficiency?

Anyone got on with Noriday? Desogestel making me bleed on and off and fed up
Hi I’ve been on Desogestrel for the past 5 months via Gynae consultant whilst I wait for an mri and possible lap. I’ve had irregular bleeding and still having periods on the Desogestrel and I’m wanting to try something else now. Has anyone tried Noriday and did it help endo symptoms and the bleeding

Pituitary gland not producing TSH
Oct 14, 2022 I had a 3rd Covid Booster shot. The next day I had the "normal" flu symptoms. Oct 20, six days later, I felt I had been hit by a bus, hurting literally from head to toe with different kinds of pain along with heartburn and leg swelling. I figured this was just a reaction that would subside

Cardiac open heart surgery
Hi to all Has anyone with metastatic breast cancer had open heart cardiac surgery and might you share your experience with me please? I only saw my surgeon yesterday and am now scheduled for Monday. How amazing is that but I'm just a bit scared. It's one of those 'be careful what you wish for' situations

IBS or something more?
Hi, this is my first post on here, and I'm just wondering if anyone can calm my anxiety and mind...For the past 4 years, I've had what I can only call unusual symptoms...bloating, passing a lot of blood from my back passage (clots included and the amount I'd pass during a heavy period), a lot of mucus

At a crossroad! My liver biopsy last November came back that my cancer mutated from HER2 low to HER2+. I have started THP because of it. I saw my MO yesterday who told me that my molecular study is not showing the HER2. So I have 2 contradictory tests! She also said she presented my case to the

Anyone find cold plunge or sauna helpful?
I'm six weeks in on ADT. Working to stay ahead of fatigue with resistance training and weighted vest walking as I gear up for radiation and chemo in the next few months. Anyone done any cold plunge or sauna to help battle side effects or get better sleep? What was your experience?

Hip pain - related to radiotherapy?
I had chemo/radiotherapy for anal cancer in 2015 and was given the all-clear in 2021. There have been a number of side effects since but 12 weeks ago I developed pain in my right hip at the end of a walk (keen walker). GP doesn't know what the cause is (no surprise there!), but arranged an X-ray, which

IBS struggle
Hi. I've been struggling with IBS for a few years now. I am also allergic to dairy products. I try and have a healthy diet but it is very difficult. I eat low FODMAP dinners most days and have low FODMAP lunches when I'm at work. I take biomel powder in my banana and peanut butter smoothie twice a day
