I mostly rested, drank lots of fluids and stayed in. My cough was a bit worse but other than that the symptoms were pretty mild. The cough lingered after the other symptoms cleared up but have had a PFT since I had COVID and it doesn’t seem there was any loss of lung function as a result.

Hi I rested and stayed indoors. It mainly manifested itself as a head cold, with a slight cough. I was fully vaccinated, so I think that that helped. Hope you are not too ill with it. x

I had covid a few weeks back, didn't affect my chest at all, if anything it gave me a productive cough which helped with my copd. Please don't worry yourself into feeling worse. I just ended up with what felt like a head cold. Rest, plenty of fluids, it won't last forever 😉

Good morning Madonna 1. You have had some good advice from others and not everyone has covid bad. So just try to keep calm and warm. Drinking plenty of fluids and hot drinks and hope your feeling better in a few days. Brian

I had Covid to spite the injections, it put me in bed for a few days due to severe joint weakness , plus tiredness & breathing issues. I have COPD but managed without being severely ill however it took me some time to feel better. It was just a case of staying home, resting and the usual remedies for flu. I got funny tastes in my mouth which come back everytime I have an injection. Not had any lung tests since to test the function. But been to breathing course which advised using a hand fan when breathing is bad. Thats about all I can tell you about the infections but If I miss my inhalers I start to feel like I have a cold. Rest seems to be the best answer.

I am at stage 4 copd. Severe emphysema. Had covid last July. Took Paxlovid (you need that), antibiotic and prednisone.

I'm fine.

I have found the at home tests to be widely inaccurate. You should check with your health care provider is you feel sick. If you do have it then your doctor will prescribe what you need
