Lubion injections and progynova tablets - period like cramps side effects or implantation?
Hi all, I had my day 5 frozen embryo transfer on Wednesday, so 2 days ago. Today I've had some mild period like cramps and was just wondering if anyone experienced the same? I've been taking lubion for 7 days now, and also have in previous ivf cycles and didn't have cramps. This cycle I've also

Hi everyone. Not been on in a while. Said the last FET was going to be last, but we have decided to try with the last one we have. We are very privileged to have a wee girl through IVF, donor sperm, but we always wanted to give her a sibling. There has been 5 failed transfers now so this is it. On a

Update: Day 6 post egg collection
Day 6 update: One 3AB made it to the freezer! The other 2 sadly stopped progressing. I am still so gobsmacked that we even have 1 to freeze. That concludes this cycle and I now very gratefully enter into the TWW. Things I have learnt so far from both cycles: - don’t get so hung up on quality and

embryo adoption
Has anyone done embryo adoption and don’t mind sharing their experience ? After three rounds of failed ivf with not even a single embryo formed we think embryo adoption may be the solution for us but it seems few people have done this in the Uk? Would be good to hear challenges and rewards to prepare

After 2 IVF cycles failed next step infertility tests
After 4 transfers failed 2 end up in miscarriage and two double transfers with tested embryos failed now is time to move to do immunology blood test which next week they will tell me what I need to check and also I need to do hysteroscopy. There is ERA test but my doctor didn’t really recommend because

Need advice on next step, FET, more research or more IVF
Hi all, I hope you can give me some advice on what our next ivf step should be. I'm a 38 year old with a POI/POF diagnosis. I've now had 3 rounds of IVF with minimal and often disappointing results. 1st round: 2 eggs, 1 fertilized and is now a 5 day old cryo. 2nd & 3rd round: 1 egg, failed to fertilize

IVF stories
I have enjoyed my new clinic, especially during the wait times before going into each procedure. I was able to spend some time with other women also heading to their own procedure (EC or ET) and listen to their stories. One lady is 48 and had tried multiple times; met her husband later in life. Had

*Sensitive* Been told to prepare for miscarriage
Last week I had a scan at the EPU for suspected ectopic, but at 6w2d they found an empty sac. After another scan this week and bloods I’ve been told that the pregnancy is not most likely not viable. They want me to have another scan next week ‘just in case’ a miracle happens but have said it’s almost

Male factor infertility, from infertile to fertile, defying the odds!
Hi, I wanted to share my story as on this platform as I used it for help and advice at the start of my fertility journey and I would like to help other people that may be in a similar position that I was in. Even if I manage to help 1 person I’ll be a happier man. In summary, In January 2020 I was

Still no period following prostap injection
hi ladies, I am going through another IVF cycle/FET. I had my prostap injection on day 23 of my cycle and usually my period has arrived 10 days after that. It’s now 15 days since the i jectio. And still no sign of my period. I have my baseline scan Thursday and concerned that my lining will not be thin

Elective freeze - only one embryo made it
Hello, this is our fourth full cycle (our second in the hope of a sibling for our daughter who was conceived through ICSI 2020 - she was our third transfer from our second cycle). We went into this cycle planning to do an elective freeze all as I've only ever had success with frozen transfers. Out of

Thyroid levels and miscarriage
hi all, looking for some advice. I’ve had hypothyroidism since 2013. I was hoping to commence an IVF cycle in March (my 3rd round for baby no. 2) I miscarried in October( not sure if this was linked to my thyroid, TSH was 1.53 before I started treatment. I was on steroids and other drugs so not sure

5 weeks - heavy bleeding (potentially sensitive)
Hi All, I’ve been through a whirlwind over the last few days. BFP since 7dp5dt and with tests getting stronger every 48hrs up to 13dp5dt. Then on 14dp5dt I started to see dark brown and watery blood in the morning. By the evening, it was full on heavy, red blood with huge clots and pain. Eventually

I hope this is allowed. I’m 41 & been declined NHS rounds. I want to collect a few rounds of embryos asap now & batch-freeze (sounds like cooking doesn’t it). I’m not a wealthy woman but we also really want this so if it is ok to share & people are happy to, I’d love to know people’s experiences with
