So.. here we are again!!

Hi everyone. Not been on in a while. Said the last FET was going to be last, but we have decided to try with the last one we have. We are very privileged to have a wee girl through IVF, donor sperm, but we always wanted to give her a sibling. There has been 5 failed transfers now so this is it. On a different protocol and starting lubion inj tomorrow, twice a day, before the transfer next week. What are people experiences of this? Plus the pessaries. Oh the joys. Bring on the hormones 😆

I added lubion to my third cycle and this was my successful one so I associated that with the lubion!

It was a bit stingy but otherwise no problem snd I felt like I was reassured that the medication was being absorbed rather than the pessaries which seem to mostly fall out 😳

Good luck, I’m in the same position as you and have one last FET to try for a sibling 🤞🤞 I’m 42 to it really is my last OE attempt and also donor sperm x

Hi KitKat. Thanks for your reply. That's very reassuring and good to hear your success also. I'm 38 now, so yeh, definitely wouldn't be doing any more after this. It's such a hard situation, obviously super grateful for having a success previously, but still heart breaking after every other failed FET.

I don't hear about many people's experiences with donor sperm, so it's nice to know there are similar stories out there 🙂 good luck with the rest of your journey.
