How many donor eggs did you purchase?
Hi. After two failed rounds of IVF using my own eggs this year, I’ve decided to move to donor eggs. I have chosen a clinic, and they allow you to purchase 6 or 10 frozen eggs. I have identified a donor who has a cohort of 6 eggs for purchase, and I am pretty happy with my choice. We share the same

Left ovary not responding
Hello everyone, I’m on my third round of IVF . Just turned 43. The first two resulted with no eggs being fertilised so I took a break for 4 months and took a new set of vitamins and supplements to improve egg quality ( after reading it begins with the egg) day 7 of my ovuleap and fermadryl stimulation

Over 40yrs 4th transfer 3dpt
Hi I've never posted before, so apologies in advance for the ramble. We've been ttc 15yrs now . First short protocol cycle was 10yrs ago on the NHS which failed. Second was privately funded using the same hospital and ended in a chemical pregnancy. We took a break after that because the clinic suggested

Confusion about MPN. Please help
I posted this on Reddit and a kind user referred me to this forum, so here I am… I’m 36 and have had chronically high platelets since my early 20’s (typically around 525k). To my knowledge, I don’t think my platelets have ever been normal. My PCP has never expressed any concerns, as my other bloodwork

Round 2: First scan
So this morning was my first scan of round 2 and as we were driving to the clinic it all suddenly hit me and I got really teary - here we go again, jumping straight back on the emotional rollercoaster that is ivf! I was so scared and nervous for what I was about to see given the unknowns surrounding

Struggling
I had several losses and two of which were ectopics and was rendered infertile due to removal of tubes. Faced with the possibility of not being able to have a child of my own damaged me in ways I can’t even comprehend. Even though now I have my gorgeous little ivf boy here it still hasn’t taken that

10 eggs fertilised, and 3 reached the Blastocyst stage
We got our day-5 call from the embryologist today and feel disappointed that only 3 (4AA, 4AB, 4AB) have reached the blastocyst stage. We will be going for FET due to OHSS. I wanted to get some advice from the community: 1. What are the success rates for the frozen embryo to survive when thawed?

Protocol received and hoping for some general tips!
We’ve received the docs today to confirm short protocol with meds starting from 12/10. Its starting to feel a bit real and I’ve definitely got knots in my belly. Can anyone tell me when you stop taking your supplements (DHEA, vits etc) leading up to meds? and when did you have acupuncture before

7 week scan after IVF too small and no heartbeat
we have had IVF and today went for our 7 week scan. There appeared to be 2 small sacs indicating could be twins. One sac nothing and the other sac has a tiny something in but too small to tell and no visible heartbeat. Got to wait another week for a scan but not looking great. Has anyone else had anything

IVF Frozen embryo
I had my egg retrieval 3 weeks ago which resulted in 31 eggs being collected and 25 being frozen because of my risk of getting OHSS.I had a bit of nausea and bloating so didn't flare up. I got my period 6 days after and it was very like my usual period heavy and painful. Just waiting for my next period

Promotion and IVF, should I do a freeze all?
I’m in the process of a brand new fresh cycle. I’m due to start in the next few weeks, and incidentally, I was offered a promotion which I accepted without hesitation. I officially begin my new role in the next few weeks as well, and I’d like to go ahead with my cycle anyway because of my age (41) and

First IVF/ICSI, Long Protocol, 22mm endometrium thickness
This is my first cycle ever. I was told at my last scan my endometrial lining is too thick 22mm, and I might have to freeze embryo after retrieval, anyone has experienced this before?

I've to go for a further scan on Tuesday as the sac was still 25mm and been told to keep taking all meds until then. I'm on 2 lubion a day and
