we have had IVF and today went for our 7 week scan. There appeared to be 2 small sacs indicating could be twins. One sac nothing and the other sac has a tiny something in but too small to tell and no visible heartbeat. Got to wait another week for a scan but not looking great. Has anyone else had anything like this or can share any stories?

7 week scan after IVF too small and no heartbeat
Hi Bbug. A week is a long time in embryo growth. May or may not be viable, but I have seen sudden spurts of growth, so fingers crossed that the one will surprise you. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi!Did you had already your second scan?
I am going the same, 7 weeks, and they could see something very small, and a yolk sac, but not much else.

Hi, unfortunately mine has ended in a missed miscarriage. At second scan I had a gestational sac, yolk sac and fetal pole at 8 weeks but still no heartbeat.
I’m so sorry you’ve been through this. I was told at me 7 week scan last week I had a blighted ovum and I’ve stopped all my meds and am now impatiently waiting to miscarry. It’s so cruel and I hope your miscarriage is over as quickly as possible too. Xxx
I’m so sorry to hear this, the same happened to me and the miscarriage started 7 days after the meds stopped. Hope you’re ok x
Oh I’m so sorry for you too. It’s amazing how many women in this site have had to do through this amongst all the other set backs. So unfair! Thank you for sharing that it took about a week for you. I usually start bleeding two days after stopping cyclogest so now know that I will probably have to be a bit more patient. It’s tough waking up with sore breasts and feeling pregnant so I’m hoping it happens soon for closure. Sending you lots of strength to pick up and carry on xxx
