feeling disappointed 😢
Following my first IVF cycle, I was told yesterday that I have no embryos to transfer. Two immature eggs collected. One became mature in the lab and they were able to inject sperm into it, but it fertilised abnormally! I feel so disappointed in myself and my body and finding it difficult to pick myself

Sensitive: update and lines/symptoms in case it's helpful
This shock natural pregnancy may actually be happening - I know this is sensitive and tbh I was quite resentful when I saw people getting pregnant naturally on here as I assumed it would never be me. We have been TTC for 10 years, never had a sniff of a bfp naturally, turned out to be a weird responder

endometrial scratch
Hi everyone, I had my endometrial scratch last Tuesday, all went well. I’m on day 29 of my cycle and been getting dull cramps for the past two days. I don’t usually have period cramps (very light) and not felt like this before. It’s very uncomfortable and I’ve not really been able to sleep. Anyone experience

Adenomyosis
Back when I had my initial scans ahead of IVF treatment one of the Dr's diagnosed me with adenomyosis. This surprised me as no one had ever spotted this before and I thought you couldn't diagnose it from a transvaginal ultra sound. When I said "Are you sure??" she said "You definitely have adenomyosis

everything on hold again
Hi, I wrote a post last week and then deleted as felt quite overwhelmed having wrote everything down. Basically have been waiting to start IVF after being treated for Tubo ovarian abscess 2 years ago and having fallopian tubes removed. Went into baseline scan last week to finally start 1st ivf round

Would you recommend any further tests BEFORE IVF? (ERA, NK cells, etc)
Hello lovely community, I may be jumping the gun here and i’m open to be told i’m being ridiculous! I’m 33, have a very high AMH, short luteal phase of 5 days and some signs of PCOS (High follicle count, slightly raised testosterone but normal LH/FSH balance and i ovulate on my own) The nurse

Not sure how I feel
My daughter has reached the point where she feels she cannot stay on her IVF journey. Aged almost 41, single and 3 failed attemps have drained her emotionally and taken a toll physically. Her life has been on hold for 2 years, she has become spiky, difficult to talk to and I’m sad to say a little

Last minute nerves about donor egg cycle 😣
I’m due to start a new IVF cycle, this time using donor eggs on my next period, which will be this weekend. There was no wait whatsoever for my donor, we only picked one three weeks ago, and now the reality is starting to set in. I know the chances are so much higher than my own eggs, but I’m terrified

IVF and work (teaching) and stress, time off for appointments. UK
IVF and work (teaching) and stress UK I resigned from my horrible secondary school teaching job this summer and then found out our ICSI was starting (brought forward. I am currently unemployed. The nature of the appointments is very little notice. I have just failed a cycle with 3 eggs collected

Bad News after scan no fetal pole

Short Protocol
Hi all, I've been told I'll be doing the short protocol when I start ivf shortly. I have quite a low AMH (nearly 40 years old) but no idea about anything else. Can anyone who also did the short protocol give me a rough timeline of how long it took for you from start to finish? Thanks xx

IVF funding question
If you’re allowed 6 embryo transfers from a maximum of 3 stimulation cycles does this mean you can do 3 egg collections and have 6 transfers from those collections max? Or does it mean something else? I’m probably being stupid but I don’t understand this 😑.

IVF postponed
Has any been in the situation, I was literally given all the dates and info. All booked in and worked out. To then have additional bleeding the same day (stage 4 endometriosis history) but now they have found an ulcer in my bowel. Everything has been stopped/postponed until biopsy results are back and

advice needed urgently please
I have had Chrons for quite a few years now and always took 1/2 tablet mercapterpurine once a day. However I had to increase the dosage to 1 tablet per day a few months ago because I kept having flare ups. This has helped really well. Until last week when I started bleeding like a period so today is

Anyone local to Devon going through IVF?
Will be starting first cycle of IVF/ICSI next month and wondered if anyone local to me? Have been waiting years for this and trying to keep positive that things are finally starting, also feeling a little anxious as despite all the information you are given or read it is still daunting. Trying to keep

Shared motherhood fresh transfer
Hi all. I'm back after a break. Me and my partner are doing the shared motherhood IVF. We have done it in the past however we had frozen embryo transfers. Has anyone had experience of fresh transfers for shared motherhood/reciprocal ivf? How in sync should both cycles be? I keep getting different answers

Hi ladies, In January we started going to a nutritionist to help us through our fertility journey and prepare for IVF. Among other things, she recommended full fat milk, Greek yoghurt and having more eggs and a lot more water. Which we did. Fast forward a few months and I got pregnant. My main pregnancy
