Hi all. I'm back after a break. Me and my partner are doing the shared motherhood IVF. We have done it in the past however we had frozen embryo transfers.
Has anyone had experience of fresh transfers for shared motherhood/reciprocal ivf? How in sync should both cycles be? I keep getting different answers
Hey! We have had 1 cycle but unfortunately failed.
we were very synced up. The one donating their eggs was put on birth control prior to the bleed to sync her to the egg recipient cycle.
When the egg recipient bled. The egg donor stopped birth control and bled too.
The egg donor started stims that day, and the egg recipient started fyremedal and estrogen.
On the day of egg collection, the egg recipient started progesterone, so they would have had this for 5 days prior to the transfer.
