Shared Motherhood / Reciprocal IVF Costs
Hello everyone, myself and my Wife (2 Women) have recently been referred to our local clinic in Glasgow so this is all very new to us! We understand there will be a long wait but wanted to get our ducks in a row so we’re well prepared. Depending on the outcome of our tests we were considering Reciprocal

Feeling low
no purpose for this post. Says it all in the title.. Been feeling really down today. It’s been a year since we started IVF and 4 transfers later, no success or even no diagnosed issues. Not really got any further from where we were when we started really. Starting to think this may not work and the

2nd laparoscopy but still experiencing dull ache / pressure
Hi everyone, I’ve just had my second laparoscopy for stage 4 deep infiltrative endometriosis. I had lots excised including around my left ureter, and bowel (I had to have bowel shaving). Although it’s still early days (I’m 11 days post op) I’m experiencing the same pain and pressure on the lower left

Hi All,I have adenomyosis and I have been having constant and chronic lower back pain and pain on my left bum cheek for 9 months. Does anyone else with adenomyosis have this problem? I've had a laparoscopy and endo wasn't found but I wouldn't be surprised if I have it too. It's tormenting me and hugely

IVF ( fecondazione in vetro)
Hello, I'm Sara. I've been undergoing IVF in Italy for a week. I need information and insights from others, as it's challenging for me being non-Italian and receiving treatment in a foreign language. I appreciate your guidance.

Donor Eggs
Hello lovelies I wonder if any of yous have used Access Fertility. I know they have a refund programme for women over 40 for donor IVF. I wanted to know if any of you ladies have experience with them and if any good. I’ve read the reviews on Trustpilot and they seem ok. Please PM me if you’ve used them

Third fresh failed (6th embryo) 😢
Good morning all Firstly I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that responded to my posts and shared their experiences over the last few weeks (sorry I've not managed to reply to everyone but I have read your responses). It's been an incredibly anxious time and just doesn't get any easier the more

IVF drugs and sensitive teeth
hello everyone. This is my first post but I’ve loved the support from everyone else’s posts. You’ve all helped answer my questions and put my mind at ease throughout my journey so far. I would like to know if anyone else has suffered from really sensitive teeth since they have been taking any IVF

Donor Egg - to test or not?
Any DE mamma’s here? Just wondering how many DE FET’s you had before getting your BFP. We are about to embark on our first DE journey but my husband has said it’s one go & that’s us (5 prev IVF cycles & 1 DD later)… So, to give us the best chance, do we opt for PGT-A testing & therefore 1 embie

Delayed period cyclogest
I'm due to test on Saturday (the wait is killing me). We had a previous IVF cycle a couple of months ago that failed and I had spotting then my period came right on time. This time my period was meant to arrive yesterday but I don't feel too hopeful and I've read progesterone can delay your period.

displaced implantation window - can I still conceive naturally?
hi ladies, I hope you’re all well? I’ve not been on here for a while, been trying to heal after my unsuccessful IVF journey 😢 During my treatment, they discovered through the ERA that I needed an extra 12 hours of progesterone before transfer, therefore my window was displaced. My question is does

Seeking Guidance on Obtaining UKAS Accredited Blood Test Reports for IVF
Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. I recently initiated my IVF journey at a private clinic and am exploring the possibility of utilising my NHS blood test results to avoid unnecessary expenses. Unfortunately, the private clinic requires specific details, including confirmation of UKAS accreditation

Early Pregnancy & Hashimoto
I have just had my first ever positive HPT after 5 years of TTC and 2 failed IVF cycles. I have calculated that I am approximately 6 weeks pregnant. I was diagnosed with hashimoto Thyroditis roughly 2 years ago and have been on 100mcg levothyroxine since. My last bloods came back normal in early November

how long did you have to wait for cycle review apt?
I rang my clinic on 20/11 to advise AF had arrived and was told I would be put forward for a review. Ten days later after hearing nothing I chased it up… I was told I’m 18th in the queue for a review and it may be several weeks. I asked for further clarification on dates and received a call yesterday
