Flying in early pregnancy

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place buy any input greatly appreciated.

My wife is pregnant, did the test this day last week, so we reckon 5 weeks. We're delighted, we have been trying for a while. We are engaged with fertility services (NHS) but we hadn't got to IVF etc. stage.

My wife has had 2 early miscarriages (around 5/6 weeks). Latest about 18 months ago, first was a long time ago.

We're tempted to take a quick break for some sun and relaxation over Xmas (Canaries probably, 5 hr flight) .

I'm seeing a bit of mixed messaging when I search online about it flying is an issue at all around early pregnancy/chance of miscarriage.

Would anybody be able to provide some info/advice on this?

Thanks

B
