COVID, FND, and Cymbalta Ruined My Life
This is a long story, and I apologize in advance for any, bitter angry undertones. I'll skip all of the grief I've had in life and the hard times that I've experienced. I'll try to keep it to the medical issues. It will feel good to tell a part of my story, arguably the hardest I've been through.***Trigger

Dienogest?
I've finally seen a specialist and he's told me I haven't got deep infiltrating endo as it's not showing up on scans but I could have mild so has put me onto the list for surgery (which is a relief) but he also wants me to start dienogest. I've never mentally reacted well to birth control but was willing

Hello ladies, nice to be here - this is my first post! I have just recently been diagnosed with endometriosis, physically it doesn’t look bad, just my womb is stuck to my uterus or something and there no scarring or anything like that, but they have found a very teeny tiny cyst in my left ovary. Because

Hi, sorry for the long post in advance. Gyne Referral Made
Hi, after years of painful periods, painful sex, I decided to go to my GP to ask for a referral for a possible endometriosis diagnosis. My GP did a pelvic exam today and I have been sore ever since on the left side (feels like it's the left ovary). My fertility consultant during a stimulation cycle

Estrogen vs ADT?
I've read 5 recent papers that discuss the use of estrogen as an alternative treatment to ADT (Lupron, etc.). The new data looks very favorable. A bit of history. Huggins discovered this effect around 1941-44, and he found that high doses of estrogen (estradiol) efficiently castrated men, which

Super vitamins
I cannot believe it, I have just come across a super new vitamin pill costing between 149 pounds sterling up to over seven hundred pounds for 180 days supply. Its main asset is that it is contained in rather an attractive copper pill box. The pill has turmeric, vitamin D, vitamin K etc etc and presumably

All the symptoms of OC but nothing seen on pelvic ultrasound or TV ultrasound and CA 125 of 11
Hi girls!! So my story started 4 months ago going to my GP with unusual bleeding, pain during sex, bowel and bladder changes and pelvic pain. Fast forward to now it has been a monumental struggle to get my GPs to do anything but with a lot of pushing I have had a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound done

large clots and really bad pain
hi ladies. I had my nexplanon implant out two days ago and my bleeding has gotten so heavy. It’s stopping me in my tracks as it’s so painful: lost a huge clot this morning and feel so sick. Mentally I feel better off contraception but my bleeding has gotten worse. Is this normal? Will it eventually calm

more unwell and confused
I’ve been becoming more and more unwell generally over the past few months. Some of this is due to continual Herpes two attacks and now taking Valaciclovir every day, also new diagnosis of further erosion of the lumbar spine at disc three as well as 4-5. I take 11mg Preds every morning. I took it today

nexplanon implant removal
hi ladies, I’ve bled constantly since having my excision surgery in October. Been to my specialist who recommended that I have my implant out and reset my body completely then see about another form of contraceptive control in 3-6 months. Just had my implant removed today. Wondering how long it might

HRT Questions
I wondered if any members could recommend or suggest good bioidentical HRT products. I've been on HRT for nearly 7 years. I went into menopause very abruptly after I came off the pill. A lot of weird health issues reared their head at the same time and I admit I wasn't very well at the time. I've mentioned

I'm in my seventies and a few years ago my lifelong problems with acid indigestion suddenly got a lot worse one day after eating fish and chips but my experience is not as bad as yours. My doctor presctibed lansoprazole (15mg) and it worked at first but after a week or so it gave me a constant nausea

I started birth control back in July because I was having really bad cramps and I wanted an extra contraceptive. My cramps stopped being so bad and my peiords remained normal
