The pill and HRT after operation
Hi, hope everyone is safe and well. I've been on Gnrh prostape analogue injections for 12 months which have worked well despite a shaky start and so e side effects to HRT. I've had conflicting advice for my next stage of treatment in the hope I will go into a more natural menapause. Has anyone taken

Combined pill and periods
I’m just starting the pill. If I take my first pill on the first day of my period is it certain my next period will be on the 7 day break?

One year on (long post)
"One year on?" you may be asking yourself, "but she said she had a laparoscopy not long ago." You are indeed right. I had my laparoscopy in March. But this is not the story of my recovery. This is the story of my anniversary. Exactly one year ago today, it all started. It was Summer 2019. Wonderfully

Unexpected natural BFP
Hello Ladies, So i last posted on here in February as my gf and i were going through our second ivf. Sadly it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. We decided to recharge our batteries, exercise and eat well during the lockdown. We were due to have a TIA appointment next month and try for a 3rd cycle

Cerazette
Hi, I have been taking Cerazette for a month now. I take a tablet every evening at the same time. But apparently I forgot one and only noticed it when I had to take the next one the following day. Two days later I began bleeding. Now I have extreme blood loss again. I thought that Cerazette would stop

Having a bit of a nightmare at the moment and struggling to cope. I had the coil fitted and it was great at first but then started experience a lot of cramping. Went to the gp and they removed it Had it taken out and started the pill but not doing much for my pain symptoms. Really stuck as to keep on

Getting diagnosed
I am 40 years old and have dealt with chronic pelvic pain for years. I am in the US, but I enjoy this forum and I hope it's okay to post here. I'll give you a bit of my history. In 2017, I had several uterine polyps removed. At the time, my surgeon wanted to explore for endometriosis, but I could

Coming off the pill
After my last period I have stopped taking the pill (I’ve been taking it for 11 years) as me and my partner are trying for a baby. My period is meant to be due 9th August, I’ve heard it’s likely to be extremely painful and quite heavy? Has anyone else experienced this? Will I still be able to take my

Don't take topiramate
I took topiramate or Topamax for 6 month. I have memory issues. I cant recall things that happened today or even things I said 5 minutes ago. It ruined my appetite. I can no longer eat certain things because I used to gag at the sight of food. As someone who loved food, it saddens me that now I can't

What's wrong with my hormones ?
Hello, I was originally on a birth control which was Microgesti Fe 1/20 1mg which was norethindron acetate 1 mg and 20 mcg ethinyl estradiol. I was on it for about 2 years... I had no breaks and continued to the next pack. This is what was prescribed and fine for me. I had no issues after 7 days on

Doctors told me to go on the injection
Hi everyone I’m new here but I’ve recently just been told I “most likely have endometriosis” as I have all the symptoms. However I did get an ultrasound a while back and that came back clear. Still waiting to be referred to gynaecology for further tests... thinking of going private. My doctor said for

DYSKINESIA vs DYSTONIA
i've been wondering after reading many posts here, whether I know the difference between dystonia and dyskinesia. My PD was preceded by the onset of vocal cord dystonia which means the vocal cords are very tight which makes it very difficult to speak. I get severe abdominal wall muscle tightness when

Is my contraceptive implant causing my ovarian cyst?

Monthly right sided pain
Hi all, I would just be interested if anyone else has the same as me and any advice-when I was initially diagnosed with endo my pain was near constant. I then had surgery to remove endo tissue and scarring and this pretty much eliminated my pain which was amazing. Fast forward a couple of years-I struggled

Hi. I used to post quite regularly on here a couple of years ago. I'm sure some of the OG members recognise my username. I'm 22 years. I'm ashamed to admit, I'm back over 300lbs. I'm not disclosing how much by, haha. 😔 For reference, in 2017, I got down to 250lbs. I'll let you do the maths. I have
