Combined pill /pregnancy
Hi, for the past few months, I’d say atleast from September/ October i haven’t been taken my microgynon pill consistently - meaning I’d miss more than 1 day, would have a bleed, then would start again 2 days after the bleed & would repeat this constantly. I finally made the decision around 2 months

Life changing for ADHD and HFA
Hello folks, I have adhd and HFA and I was prescribed generic ritalin to help me cope with adhd since I have it severely. I was just recently diagnosed at the age of 30 and it couldn't have come any later. My life has constantly been a mission. I am VERY hyperactive. I would always tell myself I will

Documented FET
Hello I am currently at the beginning of my FET journey and thought I could document it for anyone that’s new. I know that everyone is different and not all FETS are the same but reading these journeys helped me when I first started. So far I have been on microgynon for a month, probiotics and vitamins

Found out my consultant may have been negligent…
Hi all, Some of you might have seen me post on here before about my journey. I had a laparoscopy with a general gynae back in October who left a two sentence report on my file saying she had removed endometriosis spots. She told me that that removal (via heat) was the treatment along with the coil they

Evening primrose oil
Hello lovely people. I've just come off the pill as I am newly single and my friend said that was probably going to get my hormones all out of whack and bring on acne (or at least that was what happened to her). She swears by evening primrose oil which she said sorted it out. I was quite nervous about

Is it safe for me to take the pill?
Hiya. I have PCOS and I have taken the pill before but stopped and now I have put on more weight. My doctor said the pill is the best thing to treat my pcos but is it safe? I'm 5'7 and about 19 stone. I'm also on no other medication to help with my pcos and I don't get a period at all, the last time

Feeling very anxious today that it'll never happen for us
I'm having a low day today. We were meant to be starting our IVF cycle this week, but my ovaries and natural hormones weren't suppressed enough at my baseline scan. I'm back on the pill now for 10 days in the hopes that this will do the trick in time for my next baseline scan on the 1st March. In 2020

2nd round success stories?
Hi everyone! I'm starting my second round this week, I've just finished the contraceptive pill and have my baseline scan on Thursday. This time I'm doing a short protocol icsi and it's nerve-wracking to be setting myself up for it all again! I'm in this weird limbo land of trying not to get my hopes

I've been asked to get a coil but to be honest I don't want it. One of my close friends has endo and shes had the surgery to get tissue removed

Potential endo and non-hormonal IUD
I think I have endo, or something similar. I've been on painkillers, NSAIDs and have had an ultrasound that was normal. I am now waiting for my referral to the gyno. I was recommended the birth control pill when I was younger to reduce the symptoms but I don't want anything hormonal. I got the non-hormonal

Dienogest or Hysterectomy?
Hi everyone, thank you for sharing your journeys. I've said this before, but this forum is a massive support for me. I don't post often but it's the first thing I open in the morning and would be lost without the feeling g of support I get from you all. I was wondering if anyone has been on Dienogest

Scar tissue?
Any thoughts on scar tissue after removal of bowel endometriosis? Is surgery worth it? Can scar tissue be prevented? I don't know whether to get surgery but my symptoms were debilitating before I started taking the pill; and even though its a lot better, I am still pretty limited in what I can do now

GYNO APPNT GONE WRONG
I know NHS is on its knees as somone who works there and am studying to work within it I feel like I have been significantly let down. Late period on pill
I’m 16 and on the combined pill (levest) and my ‘period’ is a day late. I’m honestly terrified.. am I just overthinking it?
