That's great to read that people are becoming more aware of natural birth control and cycle tracking. I've done it for years now, and no unexpected pregnancies here.I've found it so empowering to learn about my cycle and know exactly what my body is doing, there are so many signs that our bodies give us that we're just not taught about when we're growing up!
I use both the Natural Cycles app and Kindara app. I prefer Kindara for ease of reading charts, but Natural Cycles is more interactive with predicting when your fertile window is and tells you when it detects the day you ovulated.
There are groups on Facebook that can be really helpful when you're just starting out with using these apps. Some people choose to use condoms for a few months until they're comfortable with interpreting the information their bodies are giving them as to whether they're in a fertile phase or not. You'll need a BBT thermometer, this helps confirm ovulation, and you'll be able to see how long you luteal phase is (14 days is ideal, but some people vary by a couple of days).
I'd recommend reading a book called "taking charge of your fertility", it tells you all about cycle tracking, and the different methods you can use.
It can be a little daunting to start with, but please stick with it, you'll be so pleased you did.
