Hi, for the past few months, I’d say atleast from September/ October i haven’t been taken my microgynon pill consistently - meaning I’d miss more than 1 day, would have a bleed, then would start again 2 days after the bleed & would repeat this constantly. I finally made the decision around 2 months ago to come off this pill as it wasn’t good for me. I will say however, whenever I’ve had a bleed, they have been quite regular - same with last months period. I had what a doctor called a “withdrawal bleed” and now I was due a period on the 17th feb, it’s now the 19th and no signs or symptoms of a bleed what so ever. I understand it takes months for your system to be clear of the pill however I’ve never taken the pill consistently. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? I know the obvious reason would be to test however I’m not sure whether to wait for a period or better yet, am I able to get pregnant?

From what I have read on the internet, you have to give your body 3 months after going off the pills completely to get it back to its natural rhythm/cycle how it was before you started the pills. I am researching into this for my daughter too to prepare for her to go off the pills one day.
