Combined pill and smoking
My doctors just changed my contraception from the mini pill to the combined pill. I'm 26 and smoke. I have no medical issues or history of clots or anything. Is it safe for me to take it while smoking as I'm under 35?

B12 advice needed
Hi everyone. I posted a while back and you were all so helpful. I've taken a lot of advice from this forum, and my blood test results from last week show that all your advice has really improved my thyroid function. I got on top of my supplements and increased my Levo to 200mcg a day. My test results

Wrong Specialist! 😢
I honestly could cry! So I have been waiting to see an endometriosis specialist for 13 months and then developed a more severe, constant pain that I’ve never had before. This has been going on for almost 3 months now of constant pain and intermittent bleeding, despite being on the Evra contraceptive

Should I try the pill for endo pain?
seen a gyno today who advised the 1st port of call would be for me to go on progesterone only pill for a few months to see if this stops my pain. I really didn’t want to go down this route in all honesty, i think clearly hormones are already messed up with the excruciating pain! Haven’t been on the

GP & Contraceptive Pill
hello, I was wondering if anyone has been using the contraceptive pill to help reduce symptoms and grown of endometriosis. Does it work? And have you been using the combined pill or progesterone only? My consultant advised I start taking it but I’ve been having problems with my GP. They are refusing

Mirena coil worries
I am writing this because I have no idea what to about my mirena coil. Whenever I have periods my mood is the worst, it is as though I take a running nose dive off of the tallest building right into solid rocks. In the past I have taken numerous contraception, pills, injection and now the mirena coil

Deep Endometriosis - Do I get a referral now to the Endo centre or wait a little longer?

So I was diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis following my lap at the beginning of August, and given the POP to help control my pain symptoms that were absolutely ruling

Contraceptive pill and autoimmune disorders
I know some people here are super knowledgeable, and I just wondered what their thoughts are on autoimmune diseases and the contraceptive pill. I have always avoided the pill, as didn’t feel it was right to meddle with my hormones. I have three autoimmune conditions, including autoimmune thyroiditis

Endo specialist giving advice of "have a baby" or "loose weight" - SO frustrated!
Hi All, Back in April I had a very sudden laparoscopy (from the cancellation list of a
general
gynae) which resulted in no findings whatsoever, with the surgeon saying afterwards "it's probably just IBS, you don't need to see gynaecology anymore". You can imagine how much of a shock this was
